Who a Pisces Really is
Most people think Pisces is this dreamy, flaky, wishy-washy, little napper whose head is stuck in the clouds, but they don’t really understand the true nature of Pisces.
Pisces is a mutable sign that can mutate, change, and adapt to situations easily. They are multifaceted and, like chameleons, they can take on many forms and different personas, which is the reason Pisces is so misunderstood.
Pisces is represented by two fishes swimming in opposite directions — bound by a spiritual chord — which symbolizes the duality and a mirror of the contradictory patterns of Pisces.
One fish swims downstream representing the ego, and the other fish swims upstream representing the soul. Either the soul controls the ego and makes it serve, or the soul is bound and held captive by the ego. The latter only brings Pisces deep suffering.
Because of Pisces’s fishy nature, they may appear as having a split personality — meaning they are one way today and a totally different way the next day. They are often misunderstood in life because of how much they change within a short period of time.
Pisces is ruled by Neptune, the god of the Seas in Roman Mythology. Neptune represents dreams, imagination, and all things spiritual. It also represents confusion, delusion, and illusion.
Pisces isn’t just this dreamy little napper whose head is stuck in the clouds. They prefer to exist in the clouds, floating above the rest of the world as they cross the lines between fantasy and reality. It’s existing in this dream-like state that makes Pisces who they are.
Because of this spiritual nature of Pisces, one needs to sharpen their intuition to reach and connect with a Pisces on a deeper and higher level. This will allow them to feel expansive to show you their magical side. A Pisces will show you who they really are if you hold space for them to be comfortable and be fully themselves without feeling judged.

Pisces communicate best when you can make them comfortable enough to show you the beauty in something, which is why Venus, the planet of love and beauty, is exalted in Pisces. Pisces needs you to make them comfortable enough to give you a peek into their soul where they can show you all the things they just don’t have the words to say.
Pisces' heads may be in the clouds, and that's why they need people around them to keep their feet on the ground. They need people around who will protect them and their energy. They need people around who are genuinely looking out for them or they will spread themselves thin.
If you can come to them from an authentic soul space, respect their spiritual nature, understand and not judge them, they are the best you’ve ever been around. They are almost magical and mystical.

A Pisces doesn't care what you think of them or how they look to you.
They don't care that you think they are crazy. They don't care that you think they are delusional. They don’t care what their past looks like to you. They don't care that you think they are multifaceted. They proudly own up to who they are and don't need approval or validation.
They know what they did and didn’t do, and they take full responsibility for the things they’ve done. Whatever a Pisces did in the past, they did it because they wanted to and that is something between them and God. A Pisces has no reason to explain to any human being what they’ve done, and why they did it.
Pisces are pure-hearted — all they do is match your energy and show you yourself. If you dislike the version of the Pisces you are met with, they are probably only mirroring yourself back to you.
