Who a Capricorn Really is
Most people think Capricorn is this serious workaholic who is cold and pessimistic but they don't understand the true nature of Capricorn. Capricorns initiate the beginning of the winter solstice, so it's no surprise that they appear cold sometimes.
Capricorn is a cardinal sign that likes to initiate things and they exude a sense of being in charge and they usually are the ones in charge. As the fathers and leaders of the zodiac, they are all about discipline, organization, and responsibility. They are the ones who ensure law and order, and they thrive on strict rules and set ways of doing things.
Capricorn as an earth sign is grounded, persistent and diligent and has a realistic and practical approach to life. They are the most hardworking of all the signs, and they know how to get the job done.
Their hard work is an inspiration to all. They never give up and they believe they can achieve anything they set their mind to.
Capricorn is ruled by Saturn, the god of restriction, limitation, and karma. Although this may seem depressing, Saturn brings structure, meaning, and definition to the Capricorn's life.
How a Capricorn Really Feels
A Capricorn's early life is most likely to be filled with fear and anxiety because there's always so much they need to do and accomplish and they may feel the weight of the world on their shoulders.
They may constantly worry about what's going to happen in the future, and that's why they feel the need to structure and organize every little detail of their lives. Capricorns are perfectionists and want things to happen in a certain way, and when things don’t happen the way they expect them to, it’s easy for them to feel down on themselves.
Capricorns are introverted and can feel lonely, but they’ll never let their emotions show. As the leaders of the zodiac, they know how to keep a strong face and they show no weakness. They don’t focus too much on emotion because they know it can consume them if they allow it.
It may seem like the Capricorn personality is rigid and lacking emotion — it may take a while for them to open up to you. This changes as they grow and mature. They age backward. In their younger years, they may appear reserved not knowing how to relax and have fun, but this changes as they age. The older they get, the more relaxed and fun they become!
What a Capricorn Really Needs
Capricorns are obsessed with success! They are admirably hardworking, but they also have the tendency to push themselves way too hard, often to the point of exhaustion. This obsession with success and perfection means they won’t stop for rest and relaxation.
They can be so hardworking and driven to succeed that they neglect their loved ones. Capricorn needs people who allow them to take charge and work most of the time but can remind them to slow down and take it easy from time to time.
When Capricorns don’t learn to relax and take frequent breaks, they are more likely to fall into dark moods which can really linger for a long time and it becomes hard to get them out of their funk.
This can a buzzkill for those around them. They need someone who can be there for them while they navigate through their moods.
Capricorn needs to find a firm sense of self beyond how others perceive them and recognize that achievements and status do not bring happiness.
Because Capricorns value tradition and have a strict way of thinking, they often struggle to open their minds to new ways of doing things and can be quite stuck in their ways finding it difficult to change their perspective. They need people who introduce them to new ideas and perspectives without forcing those ideas and perspectives on them.
Capricorns appreciate those who work hard and are motivated in life. They are attracted to those who are goal-oriented and take good care of themselves.
What a Capricorn Want You to Understand
If a Capricorn seems too serious, that’s because they’ve got so much work to do. The mountain goat has a destination in mind and will stop at nothing to reach its goal. They aren’t the ones to lie on the couch all day watching TV — they have mountains to climb.
They strive for excellence, even if the rest of the world settles for a mediocre life. Capricorns understand that not everyone has a defined goal they need to strive for, but they want you to understand they have goals they need to achieve.
They are the masters of the physical and material world admired and respected for what they’ve accomplished. But nothing ever came easy for a Capricorn. Everything they have, they got through sweat and hard work. They had to work twice as hard to achieve things others achieved effortlessly.
They find life a challenge until they accept that responsibility is part of their life. Capricorn is here to learn what it means to achieve greatness, and they often do this through challenges, patience, and endurance.
Capricorns may seem really slow, taking their time in everything they do. They don’t feel the need to rush anything in life and they don’t mind taking things slow because it ensures the job is done well.
Capricorn knows what he or she wants and has a plan. Even if it seems they are moving at a slow pace in life and aren’t taking any action, they are quietly planning things for when the time comes for them to take action.
