“Too few breaks!”
“Too long hours!”
“No magic healing after battles!”
Viper looked at the goblins and felt ashamed for her earlier judgement.
“Terrible! Who would have known?!”
“Those who care!” one goblin said, “We have to kill you anyway!”
“But I just experienced this strange feeling,” Viper said, “I think it’s compassion!”
Pike stepped forward, a flame sizzling in his hand.
“Would be a shame to make your day worse.”
“At least our families are taken care of when we die!”
The first goblin shrugged.
“Well … barely.”
“True.”
“True.”
Diera carefully stepped forward, smiling.
“You need a union!”
