🟢 Why has no one told me this before?
The unending, perpetual motion of the world, this phenomenon of nature, is the only gift of creation. From the universe’s birth to its end, there is a constant motion and purpose, whether this motion is visible or not. Time and change in nature are inevitable — however, these changes also define how we see our world.
This is perhaps the most essential truth I have learned: our world is a moving, continuous, vibrant life force — and how we choose to react to it affects us and others. Motion is also one of the first directives we are taught; however, I believe that motion can be portrayed in many ways. The motion within nature is an analogy of nature itself: self-propelled change allows for growth in the natural world, and this growth never stops.
Nature is composed of constantly moving water, earth, air, and fire — these elements are at work regardless of our vantage point.
The power of poetry is thus two-fold: to transcend the current state of the art and express how we see the world; yet, despite this power, poetry’s most significant purpose is in its ability to touch people. Poetry allows us to understand nature’s motion’s meaning and appreciate it more fully. Through poetry, we can express our appreciation of the world around us. We should never forget this crucial lesson: to appreciate and embrace the world around us.
The time has come for us to let go of the power we hold; The time has come for us to give up our grasp on what is true. For we are caught in the flow of a constant motion, So that our grip cannot hold back the tide. A constant motion will move past the truth and deception, A continuous motion will pass through what we see. This is the reason why we cannot grasp a permanent meaning; This is the reason why we must let go of our past. Time and change have taught us that change can occur in our hearts; And time and change have led us to leave fear behind.
