“Everything alright?” Dara asks, concerned.
“Yeah,” you reply, sweating. “All good.”
“Let’s keep moving, it won’t be long before Lorenzo will find you.”
It’s Dara’s voice, but her lips aren’t matching her words.
“Aye,” Bruno says. “You should return to the cave.”
“You can’t run forever.” Dara speaks the warning with a smile. “The only reward for disobedience will be your…”
“DOOM!” Scruff barks playfully. “DOOM! DOOM!”
Dara and Bruno laugh as Scruff wags his tail and hops around. Their eyes glow and fire erupts from Scruff’s panting mouth.
When you blink, everything returns to normal.
“What’s wrong?” Dara asks.
