Summary

According to a survey by bonytobeastly.com, the most attractive male body type to women is athletic, with broad shoulders and a relatively narrow hip, and a healthy level of body fat, rather than extremely muscular or very lean physiques.

Abstract

The article discusses the results of a survey conducted by bonytobeastly.com, which reveals that the ideal male body type according to women is neither the extremely muscular type nor the very thin one. The survey, which included 423 women, found that 51% preferred an athletic build with 43% favoring a muscular physique, while only 6% preferred the most muscular bodies. Additionally, the survey indicated that a healthy body fat percentage was more attractive than being very lean or obese, with 51% of women favoring a healthy body type and 38% preferring the leanest category. The article suggests that men aiming to be more attractive through physical training should focus on achieving a balance rather than striving for the extremes. It also provides resources for those looking to improve their diet and exercise routines.

Surprising: This is the most Attractive Male Body Type according to A Survey

I have good news guys! The most attractive body type is much easier to achieve than you think. However, a little training will probably still be necessary.

Women. They are the main reason why we men go to the gym.

“Curls for the girls”

…is a well-known saying among gym rats. But how effective are those curls actually when it comes to girls?

Most men would probably describe extremely muscular bodies like Arnold Schwarzenegger’s as the ideal. This is why there are all these muscular guys in tank tops walking around your local gym before going home to eat some tasty chicken with rice like every other day of the week…

But many bodybuilders keep saying that this mainly brings admiration from other men, much less the opposite sex.

Why exactly is that?

A survey by bonytobeastly.com shows surprising results: 423 women were asked how attractive different degrees of muscle mass and body fat were to them. The results might surprise some of you.

Amount of muscle mass

In regards to muscle mass, 4 categories were distinguished: thin, athletic, muscular, and very muscular. A healthy middle ground seems to be best when it comes to muscle mass. 51% named athletic and 43% muscular most attractive. What is surprising is that only 6% like the most muscular body type best. Broad shoulders and a relatively narrow hip scored best in the survey. 0% preferred the very thin one.

Looks like some work in the gym will definitely help you with the ladies. This book helped me a lot when I got started in the gym. You might want to check it out as well.

Body fat

Here, too, a distinction was made between 4 categories: Obese, fat, healthy, and very lean.

It should be obvious that obese and fat men are not very attractive to most women. I don’t mean to fat shame anyone, but we can’t argue with the facts.

I am sorry…

The healthy body type was ahead here with 51% and 38% of the women found the leanest body type best. It is noticeable that here too the extreme performs worse than a healthy measure. This makes sense, since all physical characteristics that indicate good health are considered attractive. 10–14% body fat and a certain amount of muscle should be enough. I hope this attainable shape motivates many of you.

Key Takeaway

You don’t have to take the looks of Arnie at his best as a benchmark when trying to become more attractive as a man through physical training. An athletic, somewhat lean body should be enough. A healthy diet and a few gym sessions a week should do the job. I highly recommend this book if you are looking to eat more healthily.

Obviously, looks are not everything. Looking for more tips to get the woman of your dreams? This article will give you an unfair advantage!
