How I maintain 10% Body Fat without a strict Diet

Every day is a cheat day…

Many different diets promise miraculous effects. But especially with strict diets, the effect often does not remain permanent. The weight loss achieved in a short time is undone after a relapse with a few days of poor nutrition.

Therefore, I do not believe in strict diets. I will explain how I manage to keep 10% body fat permanently while eating chocolate every day. Every day is a cheat day for me.

My philosophy is very simple. If I eat more calories than I burn, I gain weight. Conversely, I lose weight. No matter what diet you believe in. With this pragmatic approach, I have developed a sustainable lifestyle that even allows me to cheat. This is very important for me because I love chocolate and it is a part of my quality of life.

1. Working out/ active Lifestyle

I go to the gym every day. I usually do 30 min of endurance training and one hour of strength training. Often I add a walk for half an hour. This way, I burn many calories and take care of my health.

2. No liquid calories

I don’t drink caloric drinks, only water, tea, and coffee.

Soft drinks and fruit juices contain a lot of sugar. Many people harm themselves by dumping in these calories that don’t even fill them up.

I especially like green tea, which also helps burn fat and has many other health benefits.

I always drink my coffee black, which promotes fat burning by stimulating the metabolism. Coffee also has many other health benefits. Maybe you want to read about it:

I also rarely drink alcohol. Alcohol contains tons of empty calories. So the daily beer can leave clear traces on your hips. I rather save myself those calories. Not to mention the other harmful effects of alcohol.

3. Mostly healthy diet

Of course, I eat mainly healthy food. I eat mostly oatmeal with yogurt and fruit for breakfast. My other meals are also mainly healthy and always include lots of fruits and vegetables. This way I get full without eating too many calories. So in the evening, I still have enough calories left over to indulge in a bar of chocolate. This makes my diet sustainable and I don’t feel like I have to do without anything.
