Check-ins!

  • What was the highlight of your week? How are you going to celebrate these happy moments?
  • What was the toughest part of this week for you? How are you going to plan in some self-care time into this or next week to give yourself enough time to recover?
  • What are three things you’re grateful for?

Quick brEGGfast bites

3 things I’m gr🍳teful for

  • The Brain is a Noodle (my new publication) is slowly ramping up! I’ve gotten my first followers, first writers, and first pieces submitted this week! This is all very exciting and new to me!!! As evidenced by the number of exclamation marks !!!!!!!
  • Discovering podcasts: they’ve been such a sense of companionship for me ever since physical distancing began.
  • Having access to clean drinking water.

3 plot developments in Lucy’s life

  • She has somehow lost a Tupperware lid, which is crazy because she hasn’t taken the Tupperware out since March, so where could the lid be? It has to be in the house, right? Brainstormed suggestions welcome (h e l p).
  • Back to school! Entering her third year of her PhD, she is gearing up for pretty much the same; at this point she has no classes, only focussing on writing her thesis and somehow figuring out how to collect data. Oh, and online teaching assistantships! This will be a fun (and confusing) year.
  • For an added piece of de-stressing into the end of her day, she’s started stretching for about 20 minutes before bed. Stay tuned to see if this habit sticks!
