Stop It. There’s No Such Thing As “Progressive Racism.”

That’s like saying there’s “progressive rape.”

Can we please debunk this myth? There is a lot of people in America from all different backgrounds who believe that we have progressed in terms of racial discrimination. I’m sorry to break this to you but we have not. People are still blinded by the Civil Rights Movement’s façade that Black people have made progress in America when we integrated with white people. The Civil Rights Movement only benefited us in terms of socialism. But what about economically? What about education? What about reparations for Foundational Black Americans? You see, when it comes to anything that is financially beneficial to us, that’s when our so-called allies get real quiet. White America seems to think that letting Black folks work in their businesses, shop in their stores, and get caught by their teachers means that they have done right by us. Well, I say that’s bullshit. Malcolm X told us a long time ago that when the wound begins to heal, that’s when we make progress. But the white supremacists won’t even admit that they cause the wound by stabbing us in the back in the first place.
