The stone path is long! You rest, huddled in a hollow below a hollow oak, then proceed.

The path is rising, too, as you continue. Expecting to see a lake and island, you’re disappointed. Mountains come into sight away to the left. It’s clear you are now on a hillside, rising out of the trees.

You’re lost.

On the verge of giving up, you suddenly hear voices down the slope. Stealthily, you proceed down through the trees. Two familiar voices… proceeding, you see… a human. It’s Taryn! And they’re with Dara Blackfeather, the elf you met back at the village.
