Starting a New Journey
Diving deep into the abundance of the universe

After the end of my 100-day spiritual journey, I took a rest. A glorious seven days for my mini-sabbatical allowed me time to deep clean and organize my home as well as rest and contemplate my next journey. I put together a donation of all of the items that I am giving away. I am struck by the beautiful abundance that has always been in my life. It is amazing that no matter how much I declutter or give away, there is always more. The focus on this next 100-day journey is abundance. Recently I discovered the book The Tao of Abundance: Eight Ancient Principles for Abundant Living by Laurence G. Boldt. This book and others will be my guides for this deep dive into the infinite love of the universe.
I have always felt deep gratitude for all of my good fortune and the love that surrounds me. However, there is more to explore. Sometimes society surrounds us with negative programming around scarcity. It creates a bubble of fear that seems to follow us on our path. As I step into this journey of abundance, my aim is to let go of these ideas. I want to embrace the infinite goodness of all that we are given. Each day I will explore and share my experiences day every day. I also plan on giving something each day. It may be a kind word, a card in the mail, a gift, or a donation. However small, these gifts will send positive energy out into the world.
If you put yourself in accord with the way of the universe, it will take care of you abundantly. To experience this abundance, there is nothing you need to do first. It is not necessary for you to earn one more dollar, get a better job, buy a new home or car, or go back to school. All that is required is that you become aware of the inner process through which you create an experience of lack and struggle in your life, and refrain from doing it. Feelings of abundance and gratitude are natural to the human being; they do not need to be added or put on. We have only to become aware of how we are resisting and inhibiting this natural state. -Laurence G. Boldt

I know deep in my heart that these 100-days will unlock even more potential, kindness, giving, and abundance. I am excited to share with all of you this beautiful journey, one step at a time. None of these days will be pre-planned. I will go with the flow and see where the abundance takes me.
Just yesterday, my husband and I chatted about the magic of the universe. We often call extra things that we receive “universe pizza.” That is because when we got our grocery order, a frozen pizza was included in it. Those moments feel so magical! I believe it was the universe, giving us a surprise for some kindness we had sent out into the world.
My prayer and my intention for you today is to look at the abundance in your life. Was there a time when you received something extra? What surprises have come your way lately?
Day #1: Where is there abundance in your life?
