Stampede: Racing Royale Is a 60-Player Mario Kart Style Racing Game for PC
It’s like Mario Kart and Fall Guys merged into this absolutely chaotic 60-player racing game for PC.

So, in some past stories, I’ve talked about different kinds of racing games. You can find the links to those at the end of this post.
But today, I wanna chat about this brand spanking new PC racing game that’s like a crazy mashup of Mario Kart and Fall Guys.
It’s gonna be absolute mayhem, and I’m seriously stoked to give it a go! I can’t wait to get my hands on it!
What is Stampede: Racing Royale?
Stampede: Racing Royale is the game that brings together the excitement of Mario Kart with the chaotic energy of Fall Guys. Imagine a race where you have to outpace your opponents and strategically eliminate them from the competition.
The thrilling announcement trailer for Stampede: Racing Royale, unveiled during the PC Gaming Show, provides a thrilling glimpse into this 60-player racing extravaganza developed by Secret Mode Games and Sumo Digital.
Prepare yourself for heart-pounding pursuits, nail-biting finishes, and the opportunity to sabotage your rivals with perfectly timed attacks.
As you speed through the tracks, you’ll have access to various power-ups, including projectiles and explosive mines to hinder your adversaries, shields and force fields to safeguard your own cart, and speed boosts to leave your competitors in the dust.
But winning the game isn’t solely determined by a single race. According to Stampede: Racing Royale’s development director, Paul Hollywood, the competition starts with 60 players, with 20 contenders eliminated after the first two rounds. The remaining top 20 players then vie for the championship in the final round.
“Future modes and event types added to Stampede may see the elimination process differ, as we add new experiences and ways to play.” — Paul Hollywood.
Customization is a key feature of Stampede: Racing Royale, following in the footsteps of games like Fall Guys and Rocket League.
As you participate in races, you can earn customization options to personalize your driver’s appearance and upgrade your cart with striking paint jobs and stylish wheels. Hollywood emphasizes the significance of customization, stating:
“Customisation is at the heart of Stampede — the ability to make it yours, show off unique looks, and switch up your style whenever you like.
The more you play, the more options you can earn and unlock, and we’ll be constantly dropping new cosmetic content for players to check out.”
While there will be an in-game store where you can purchase additional skins and accessories, it’s important to note that cart customization is purely cosmetic. Hollywood reassures players, saying:
“We want to ensure a level playing field and fair experience for everyone, with progression purely influenced by player skill.
When you’re playing Stampede, we don’t want situations where you can’t succeed because someone else has spent more money than you.”
However, this doesn’t mean that all karts are created equal. Hollywood explains:
“Kart archetypes, and the progression system that we’ll implement over time, will include differing performance attributes — but each will have its pros and cons, and are discovered and earned via your performance and achievements.
Every player goes into every Stampede event with the same chance of success, keeping the game accessible and rewarding to everyone.”
