Philippines government official Captain Jesus Estil had a reputation for not knowing his way around computers, but he did know how to bend his secretary over and give her a bonus of the penile variety. Unfortunately, he didn’t realize that he hadn’t logged off from the conference call he was in and it didn’t take long for the encounter to go viral — along with an uproar and calls for him to be removed from his position.

In another government meeting, the Rio de Janeiro city council got an eyeful after a couple was caught having sex when they thought the computer camera was turned off. While everyone else was discussing food security for students during the COVID-19 pandemic, the couple could be seen in the background having sex, which prompted other council members to take action, but continue the meeting as if nothing happened. As the council chair Leonel Brizola said in a statement, “As soon as we noticed what was happening, we immediately asked the people controlling the audio and video of the participants to take it off the feed.” In fact, the meeting continued for another four hours after the incident and some participants reported that they hadn’t even seen the sex going on because they were so focused on the issues being discussed.

When he should have been discussing the budget during a virtual congressional session, Juan Emilio Ameri, a member of Argentina’s parliament, decided he had better things to do — namely frolicking with his girlfriend. During the incident, Ameri put the woman, Celeste Burgos, on his lap, then proceeded to pull down her shirt and suck on her breast as other MPs and constituents at home watched. The meeting, just as Ameri himself, was immediately suspended. According to Ameri, he was merely trying to console Burgos after a recent breast augmentation surgery and didn’t realize that his Internet connection was working. As he told news channel Todo Noticias, “It was a moment of intimacy with my partner that leaked. It was serious, really, I take charge and I am very ashamed. I am very distressed by what is happening.” Despite his apology and explanation, Ameri subsequently resigned.
