After I shared our 8th milestone of “8000+ Followers in 8 Weeks” emphasizing our core values as key success factors, there were many new writers asking clarification about the meaning of our core values. As you know, over the last two months I published many stories explaining the values and distinguishing factors of our publication in my editorial bulletins.
There was an interesting conversation that I want to share with you briefly. I was having a chat with one of our new writers on our Slack channel earlier today. The new writer asked me what I mean by serendipity.
I explained my understanding, and he interestingly re-framed serendipity based on my explanation. He said in that case, every article we publish on ILLUMINATION and every writer we connect with can be resembled buying a lottery ticket. The more stories we submit and the more writers we connect with, the more luck we can create for our visibility and recognition. It was an excellent analogy for me.
I referred the new writer to check the testimonials written by our writers to understand the culture and distinguishing features of our publication.
The new writer asked how to explore other writers and connect with them. When I referred to the attached story, he was amazed by our creative resources. I am pleased our new writers understand the value that we create for our writers.
What did ILLUMINATION writers create today?
Our writers created many eclectic stories today. We try a new technique to engage our writers in the curation process. Based on good feedback from writers and readers in the last four days, I used the same approach today.

Our current writers know that we strive for excellence. We aim to increase the quality of your stories and provide an enjoyable reading experience to our followers. Quality is an iterative process. I notice that the quality of our stories is increasing day by day.
New writers: please ensure that you check your stories for typos, spelling, and grammar errors before submitting them to the publication.
We have some volunteering editors who can perform a proof-reading for the writers from the non-English speaking background. You can search for volunteers from our Slack channel. One of the proof-reading tools our writers recommend is Grammarly.
