Productivity has become the most essential part of our life. Our focus today is mostly on jobs and family. Different issues we have to deal with every day.

Every day, we are in a rush. Five meetings per day, make several calls with a client, check mistakes in your work, etc. Then we turn back to our family and have to plan our weekends.

Besides primary issues, we sometimes get side problems related to our health, minds, where we live, and relationships. Even several angry words by a random guy on the street can make a significant mark on our souls.

Our heads are often overloaded, and we are thinking about everything we have in our lives. You can think about your past and what you have done wrong. At the same time, we are worried about our future and what can happen and go wrong.

But there are two essential things we permanently forget to think about:

  • Current Moment
  • Our Feelings

Self-Compassion

Here, we get a self-compassion methodology that teaches us to live in the moment and take care of ourselves first. If we can learn our life deeper, the most important person we can find here is the person who lives in our bodies. These persons are we!

And if you don’t think so, let me write several arguments why it’s true.

If we feel better, then:

Sometimes, we try to jump over our heads. And it’s good. We have to stay all the time at a different level. But we need to understand that when we start to do something new, especially that we have never done before, we have a high chance of failing or doing something wrong.

The following things can lead to this:

  • Lack of knowledge
  • Lack of practice
  • Lack of resources

By taking care of the above parameters, we can increase our chances of trying new things. Also, every next attempt will have a higher chance of succeeding.

When we fail, we start to judge ourselves immediately. We think people laugh at us. But here is the truth. Nobody cares! And everybody fails! Thomas Edison failed 10,000 times! Each extraordinary and famous person died thousands of times, but only several times when they got positive results led them to success! Understand it, please.

And stop comparing yourself with other people. Refrain from comparing yourself with your friends and relatives if you see people your age with higher salaries, better cars, houses, and lives.

Remember that you need to learn the natural context. Also, you are still determining what can happen to you in the next several years and what you will achieve and get.

That’s why learning to compare ourselves with only ourselves is essential. Look at you one year ago or two years ago. Could you find a difference? If you did not correspond with you five years ago, you will find something better in your late version.

The best method above is journaling. Every day, you can note your feelings and write them down. After writing them, you can learn why something happened and how to act better, find new solutions, etc.

Also, meditation is an excellent tool for organizing your mind. Suppose you feel you have a lot of stuff to do, and many thoughts need to be more apparent. Then, sit quietly, close your eyes, and breathe for 10 minutes.
