Q & A: The Supernatural and Ghosts

I don’t usually write in this type of manner, but I have been thinking about some thing’s lately. I just wondered if other people thought about things of this nature.
I am curious about your opinion on the subject. So just tell me what you think in the comment section if you like or use it as a writing prompt and tag me in your response. I would love to read everyone’s thought’s on it! — Dixie Dodd
This section touches base on the subject of the supernatural, or different questions about ghost’s in general:
#1 If we hear a strange noise in the house, is it our minds playing tricks on us or is it an actual ghost? Did we really hear a noise, or did we just think we did because we are alone at night?
My belief is that it is just our minds playing tricks on us when we hear creaking and such.
But I also have cats, so I’m never alone. And when I hear a weird noise, it’s usually easily explained by one of my cats doing something weird or playing with a toy mouse.
#2 Do you believe in ghosts, or the supernatural in general?
As a general rule, no.
But I think that there are things in this world that science and common sense can’t explain.
#3 What about scary movies? Do they make you think something is going to happen to you, or someone is watching you?
I have to watch scary movies with my husband. Not gory movies, those don’t bother me, just the suspenseful ones.
I definitely think something is going to happen to me, and I usually have nightmares that night.
#4 Do you ever think you saw dark shadows roaming around the house? Did you think it was a ghost?
I have absolutely had that experience.
When I was a teenager we lived in a house that was over one-hundred years old. There were shadows and creaking noises all of the time.
But I never thought ghost, I thought intruder.
#5 Did a loved one visit you afterward in a dream, or a person you knew after they passed away?
I’ve had dreams about loved ones who have passed away. But it’s more reminiscing than anything else. They are usually pleasant in nature.
#6 Did it make you wonder if they were the ghost in your house? Did you think they were watching over you?
I’m not sure how I feel about the afterlife. I’d like to think we go somewhere. And sometimes I do feel like someone is watching over me.
#7 Did you think about it afterward, and decide you must be silly? Did you question whether or not it was just your imagination?
I guess I never thought about it.
When someone dies, it’s nice to think that they still have opinions about your life. And that they still have advice to give or input.
#8 Do you believe it was just the presence of evil or the hand of the devil?
I’m not sure that I believe in the devil.
What I do believe is that our memories of our loved ones that have passed can be a beautiful thing.
As long as they were a positive influence in your life of course.
#9 Do you believe in reincarnation? Do you believe it is possible, that we get to come back and try again?
I would love to fully believe in reincarnation.
How amazing would that be?!
#10 Do you have any stories to tell us, referring to the subject of reincarnation? The reason why you believe in it or something that made you believe in it?
One of my old friends mothers did past life regressions. She did one on me once.
I was a Japanese Swordsmith. And I died in a mudslide. It was super detailed.
It was freaky as s**t. I definitely believed that day.
#11 Do you ever wonder if it is relative to a current problem in your life, and your loved ones are reaching out to you from beyond? This is my final question for you all.
When I have problems that I can’t resolve, I often think of my loved ones, alive and dead.
What would they do in my situation? What would their advice be?
But I’m not sure if they are reaching out. I think it is more about my recollection of their essence.
