OUR PURPOSE

Without reading, the community will die!

“Read or Die!” is a publication created with the sole purpose of giving back to the community. It is a place for honest writers who also like to read. This publication will be a floating raft for those who want to do some honest hustle.

HOW TO BECOME OUR WRITER:

[1] Read this post entirely.

[2] Follow the publication owner ( Adrian CDTPPW ) & the publication itself (link at the bottom).

[3] Clap, highlight, and leave a comment on this post requesting to become a writer for our publication.

REQUIREMENTS/RULES:

[1] No AI or ChatGPT posts are allowed.

The only exception to this rule is when you’re making a point or experiment in which you analyze or breakdown the said AI content.

[2] You have to have a premium membership.

The focus of this publication is engagement through sharing and reading each other’s posts. If you’re not a premium member, that would be impossible.

I know that Medium has made it so all the new users now have to own a premium membership to apply to the Medium Partner Program and start earning.

But this rule is for older users who were already part of MPP before August 2023 and were exempt from this condition.

I will remove this rule if or once premium membership becomes mandatory, even for older users.

[3] Read some of the articles posted in the pub from time to time

While read-to-read might not be the answer, engagement among the members and writers of this publication is very much desired and encouraged, but not enforced.

Check out our published articles and see which writers you like. Bear in mind that there’s a possibility you won’t get a return if you’re into read-to-read, even though we have a supportive community over here.

I won’t scold or kick people for not being supportive, even though I saw that some never read anything from their peers. The same will go for you too, if you join.

Just ignore those who ignore your posts or only read articles that you like. Do whatever you want.

I, the publication owner, will try to read as much as I can to motivate our new and old writers. But if I see they’re not reading anything posted in the pub AT ALL, I might not read their articles anymore.

[4] Behave properly

Respect Medium’s rules regarding conduct and do not engage in arguments or fights with other writers from this pub. I will not tolerate that type of behavior among our group of friends.

Please do not put me in the position of having to deal with such a situation. I will kick both or all involved parties out of the publication.

I will not like it at all, but since I made the threat, I’m forced to act on it if such a thing happens. Respect is something that I value a lot.

For any problem, come to me first. I will observe the person in question and take appropriate measures. Do not answer to provocations, and simply block the agitators if the situation is that severe.
