Positive Affirmations for Gratitude — Part 4
“I am grateful for myself.”

I noticed that when we talk about gratitude or giving thanks, we mostly thank others or things around us, but what about us?
What about our hearts that beat every second of every day to keep us going? What about our health, strong bodies, beautiful minds, and souls?
Part 4 of the gratitude affirmations focuses on self-love and being grateful for oneself rather than external forces.
We got us to where we are today.
Self-love may be challenging at times, so expressing gratitude for our existence, uniqueness, and health is helpful, among other things.
Let’s dive into Part 4:

- I am grateful for my unique self.
Do you know your inherent worth? There are 8 billion people around the world, but there’s only one YOU.
2. I thank my body for giving me life.
We often don’t realize how miraculous our bodies are. That’s until we get very sick, or something happens, and we struggle with our health…
That’s when we realize even the most minor functions are essential to our existence, such as wiggling our toes or moving our little fingers.
3. I am at peace with my past, and I learn every day.
It’s crucial to be at peace with our pasts. We learn from our past, mistakes, and regrets. But it’s time to be at peace now.
We can’t change the past. We might as well embrace it and move forward in peace.
4. My mind is powerful, and I am grateful for its resilience.
Our minds are extraordinary. They shape our thoughts, perceptions, and responses to the world around us and our existence.
With this affirmation, we appreciate the power of our minds and thoughts.
5. I am thankful for my worth, and I deserve good things.
For this, I want to share a powerful piece I wrote some months ago. In it, I aim to prove that you are worthy of great things simply by existing today.
6. I trust myself and my decisions.
Self-trust is really important. Some of us are trained not to trust ourselves. By saying this repetitively every day, you are showing your mind that you can trust you.
7. I appreciate the beauty in me and around me.
You are beautiful… Inside and out. ❤
8. I am grateful for all that I am and all that I have.
9. I am grateful every day for my healthy body and well-being.
Appreciate your body and innate healing power.
10. I’m grateful for my upbringing, as it made me who I am today.
Even if your childhood was terrible, like mine, it still made you who you are today.
Resilient, brave, and beautiful. You wouldn’t be you if it weren’t for that.
I say, let’s be grateful for it rather than resisting it. It’s much easier and positive.
Bonus:
- “I am grateful for my existence.”
Embrace these affirmations and let them fill you with the courage and positive energy on your journey of writing and expressing yourself.
Let’s transform our mindset and approach with positive thinking and words.
