Positive Affirmations for Gratitude — Part 2
“I am grateful for change.”

Recently, I wrote an article titled “The Art of Gratefulness,” published in Soul Magazine, joining their 30-Day Gratitude Challenge this November.
Then, I wanted to expand on positive affirmations and words of gratefulness and provide some of my favorite affirmations.

Every day, I close my eyes to meditate for at least ten minutes. Some days, I feel overwhelmed by the constant shift and change that happen in my life.
Uncertainty is indeed scary. It might make us feel unsafe or might push us to step out of our comfort zone. Or at times, things happen too fast, leaving us breathless and anxious.
In those moments, I use these gratitude affirmations to embrace and appreciate the shift and change in my life. These affirmations also help me let go of the need to control.
I may also include a short description below of some affirmations to let you know why I think they’re powerful.
- I welcome change with open arms as it brings valuable lessons that contribute to my journey.
Let’s start with the welcoming energy.
Welcoming change in life can be powerful because we automatically get out of the resistant state of our minds and the habit of catastrophizing change.
2. I am grateful for the ever-changing nature of life. I know that each twist and turn is an opportunity to learn and grow.
Change and shifts in our lives bring an opportunity to learn, shift our perspectives, and grow. Showing our gratitude for the ever-changing nature of life is helpful.
3. I embrace the flow of life.
Heraclitus once said, “The only constant in life is change.”
He also said, which is my favorite: “No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it’s not the same river, and he’s not the same man.”
4. I am thankful for the wisdom that comes from each shift in my life.
5. I appreciate the beauty in change. Nothing is the same, and that’s okay.
This is a self-soothing gratitude affirmation for stressful times of change.
Appreciating the beauty of change and saying it’s okay if nothing is the same can soothe our nervous system.
6. I am ready to learn the lessons that change brings. They lead me to a more fulfilling and purposeful life.
7. I am grateful that every change is an opportunity for me to grow and become the best version of myself.
YES!
8. I thank the resilience in me as I can navigate life’s changes with grace and a positive outlook.
Resilience is key in our journey. And we should know that we’ve all been through something, making us resilient.
I want to share a quote from Epictetus: “It’s not what happens to you, but how you react to it that matters.”
With a positive and grateful reaction to change, you are inviting more positivity in your life.
9. I am grateful for the strength that change instills in me.
Yes, twists and turns in our lives make us strong and resilient. Embrace it!
10. I am thankful for the new possibilities that change brings into my life.
If our lives were the same 24/7, we would be bored as hell, so we might as well be thankful for new possibilities that change brings our way.
Embrace these affirmations and let them fill you with positive energy on the journey of uncertainty and change.
