There are four options in the Publishing process of the new pin on Pinterest.

  1. The Title is the most important part of the Pinterest Search engine optimization. Write a great, more interesting title for your Pinterest pin.
  2. Then, the second section is “Tell everyone what your Pin is about” You can add up to 500 alphabets in the description of your pin. Try to write at least 490 to 499 alphabets in this section. Add hashtags to get discovered easily.
  3. The Third portion is what you are actually using Pinterest for. Add a link to your blog post or any other external link in order to grow your traffic. When a user discovered your Pin, he/she has the opportunity to read more about that thing on your blog or your YouTube video.
  4. The Last portion of the Pinterest Pin Publishing is “Adding Picture” This is also the most important part of Pinterest SEO. Adding an attractive image will increase your click-through rate. Keep one thing in mind that don’t copyright any image.

How to get more impressions on your Pins?

To get more impressions on your pins, you need to post more Pins everyday. I post 10 Pins every day on Pinterest. This helps me reach 3.1k impressions per month.

Total impressions my Pinterest pins received in less than 1-month.
  1. Adding a Long-tail Title: Adding a long-tail title helped you getting your pin ranked on Google search. You can get another source of highly targeted organic traffic to your blog post, Medium stories or your YouTube videos.
  2. Add Hashtags on description: You can add relevant hashtags on the description section of your Pin to get more impressions from people who are searching for a term relevant to it.
  3. Add Attractive Picture: Like how humans are attractive toward the word “SEX” the same way, adding an attractive picture will get more eyeballs and probably more clicks you receive on that Pin.
