Paths in nature -part 5

This edition featuring one of the routes I follow when I go jogging

I leave from home and instead of taking the road, I go straight to the closest forest nearby. Then most of my trail is through forests, university gardens, and eventually the shores of the lake. The last time I went jogging I took photos of some of the views I get along the way. Here are some highlights.

(check out part 1 - part 2 - part 3 - part 4 of the collection)

Just entering the forest:

It’s very common to find here running tracks prepared with mulch, which makes it easier for your knees! Photo by author Luciano Abriata.

The forest slowly gets more dense and exuberant as I go into narrower paths:

Some non-edible (I think) fruits show up here and there:

If you want some fruits that you can actually eat, check this story on hiking in search of wild blueberries:

Then the coast of Lac Leman on a day of very quiet waters. I keep running in parallel to the water, right less than a meter from getting my feet wet:

Starting to head back home, I go into a separate section of forest where the vegetation is so dense that it builds tunnels around walking trails. See the sequence as I get into this tunnel:

The last few hundreds of meters back home are through the gardens of the university nearby:
