On Getting Over 1400 Followers Within A Month
‘In the past month, 1437 people started following you’ — This message has made my day…
It is like a dream come true, and I think I am on the right track. This is one of the most competitive platforms. Newcomers have to face so many challenges, and they can be found targeting big publications.
Everbody working here have two things in their mind: getting a lot of followers and earning sufficient. I joined the site a couple of weeks ago, and my performance is going well. I manage to write four posts daily (Monday to Friday) and two each on Saturday and Sunday. This is probably the reason why I have started getting so many followers, comments, and highlights.

Followers Mean A Lot
It’s safe to say that followers mean a lot on this site and that getting up to 50 followers daily means my hard work is being paid.
Some days ago, the new set of rules and regulations was brought to the writers’ attention. Just like other freelancers, I was worried about my privacy. Other than this, I have found that the importance of followers has increased. Having so many followers mean people are liking your work and want to see you growing. At the same time, this puts a lot of responsibility on me. I will now have to focus more on quality and quantity than ever.
How I Made It Possible?
The only thing I have focused on writing consistently. Those who follow me want to see new posts daily, and it is my responsibility to provide them with useful, informative, and engaging content.
If you want the same results without worrying about being on the homepage or being chosen by a big publication, then your target should be to write at least one story daily.
A Perfect Balance Of Quality And Quantity
Every story I write is based on facts, and to every new writer who is struggling for their survival on this site, my message is that you should maintain a balance between quality and quantity.
This means writing so many stories, copying ideas or content from other sites or sources, and compromising on quality are not going to work. Even when you write multiple articles every day, you must ensure quality and accuracy. In addition, using simple language is important. In my observation, most of my followers are Asians or the ones who cannot understand sophisticated English. I am also not able to read posts that contain complex words because I am a non-native speaker.
Final Thoughts
The one thing I would like to suggest to all of you is that you should never underestimate your writing skills. It is okay if a big publication has rejected your work; it is also okay to not being able on the homepage. You should keep up the spirit and continue publishing something daily. Also, you should try to follow a few people to get a favor back.
