Summertime is all about spending a lazy afternoon absorbed in a good book. But instead of reading standard vanilla romance novels what if you spiced up your summer with a collection of erotic short stories from The Sexy Librarian’s Big Book of Erotica?

This carefully curated collection of twenty-two erotic short stories offers something to fulfill everyone’s fantasies.

A short story is a different thing all together — a short story is like a kiss in the dark from a stranger.

— Stephen King

The Sexy Librarian AKA Rose Caraway — The Kiss Me Quick podcaster — has collected a vast array of sexy short stories that will suit every taste. This book offers readers a virtual smorgasbord of erotica written by top eroticists Rachel Kramer Bussel, Janine Ashbless, Tamsin Flowers, and Salome Wilde.

Mmmm, now we’re talking. I can already feel my body start to simmer. Erotica is my kind of summer reading.

Now imagine laying poolside with the scent of Hawaiian Tropic wafting through the air stimulating all of your senses. As you lounge, the sensuous feel of sun-warmed tanning oil fans your inner flames as you spread open the pages of the first story.

From fairy tales to sci-fi, fantasy, Greek classics, and even steampunk, the Sexy Librarian features naughty tales to suit all tastes.

In keeping with the book’s librarian theme, each story is introduced with a unique card detailing the article title, author, category, and subject. For those of you of a certain age, you’ll remember these cards. I found this detail charming. This card helped me decide if I wanted to read this story now or save it for later.

“Cherries in Season” by KD Grace is my personal favourite where the love of cherries turns into a juicy and sensual romp with a sexy greengrocer. I promise you’ll look at cherries in a new light.

Like any story collection, there may be stories you like more than others. But I feel that the majority of these stories were selected with a broader audience in mind. That said, if you might be triggered by themes of sexual assault you should probably skip ‘A Perverted Fairy Tale’ by Emily Bingham. Bingham gives readers a dirty twist on the classic tale of Little Red Riding Hood.

Whether you enjoy binge-reading or carefully selecting individual stories to suit your moods, this book will keep you coming back for more and more.

Here’s hoping Rose Caraway is busy collecting stories to include in volume two of The Sexy Librarian’s Big Book of Erotica. The very thought excites me.

Dear reader, I challenge you to read this book for yourself. Maybe you’ll discover a new erotic genre. At the very least, you’ll get to read some intriguing stories from new-to-you erotic authors.

If you have a favourite erotic book or story you’d recommend, please let me know. I’m always interested in discovering new erotic authors.
