Meet Ossai Ceejay
Editor of ILLUMINATION Integrated Publications on Medium
This post introduces Ossai Ceejay supporting Illumination Integrated Publications as an editor on Medium. Ossai was born and raised in Delta State, Nigeria. He has a passion for writing and reading in various topics such as crime, mystery, drama, soccer, and animals.
After Noorain, Ossai is our second youngest editor depicting a mature attitude that impresses us. Most of our editors are mature age, so millennials bring new perspectives to our team. Illumination embraces diversity for culture, age, gender, educational background, beliefs, writing styles, and more.
Animals are of particular interest to Ossai even though he is scared of dogs. So, as an animal lover, he is studying veterinary medicine. He has already completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Thermodynamics. He loves studying with his photographic memory.
His writing journey began when he was only 15, where he started off creating stories for his classmates and even some of his teachers. He then wrote on Wattpad and Quora before finally settling down on Medium.
Ossai joined Illumination Integrated publications as a writer. After writing numerous stories on various topics, Dr Mehmet Yildiz has recently offered him to join the editorial team of Illumination Integrated Publications. Gratefully, he agreed to help the team. Ossai reviews stories, performs screening of problematic ones, and informs senior editors.
With close to six years of writing experience, an eye for the slightest details, a near perfectionist mentality, and his love for our publications, Ossai is carrying out his duties as an editor nothing short of an honor and a joy, in his terms. However, he believes that he still has a lot to learn from senior editors and promises to give more energy to support our writers and readers. We are pleased with this commitment.
Ossai mentioned that he used to talk to himself a lot and got concerned about it. However, when he read an article by Dr Yildiz highlighting the creativity and therapeutic benefits of self-conversations, he felt great relief. We enjoy his sense of humor.
