EDITOR PROFILES

Meet Noorain Ali

Editor of ILLUMINATION Integrated Publications on Medium

In this post, we introduce Noorain Ali, our youngest editor. However, despite her young age, her diligence and achievements are remarkable to share with our readers.

Noorain is currently studying filmmaking and focusing on improving her writing and editing skills.

Noorain has joined our publications and posted many high-quality, informative, and engaging stories. She recently became a top writer in Energy and Reading topics.

She writes on a wide variety of topics such as mental health, productivity, antiques, and poetry. In addition, she loves to write articles roaming around her life and experiences from various cultures.

Noorain is multi-lingual, speaking English, Urdu, Hindi, Arabic, and Sanskrit. Her family is from India; however, she was born in Sharjah — a state of the United Arab Emirates.

Coming from a multi-cultural background, she loves to explore humanistic patterns related to languages, cultures, and traditions from an anthropological perspective.

At a young age, Noorain achieved to become a published author. We are impressed by her book called “Write daily and chase procrastination flags”.

In addition to writing many articles on our publications and several others, she invests her time to write more books on various subjects. She also shared some fiction pieces on Illumination Book Chapters, such as this lovely chapter “the world within us.”

In addition to writing, editing, and studying, Noorain also enjoys teaching and philanthropic activities. She currently teaches history and culture lessons to a religious learning center voluntarily.

More importantly, as a young entrepreneur, Noorain has a startup business of creating “organic papers,” which is a part of her thesis project. She plans to launch her platform soon and gain international revenues from her entrepreneurial investments.

As she demonstrated excellent mentorship initiatives on our Slack workspace and displayed entrepreneurial traits in her writing, particularly helping our writers and readers with solid advice, Dr Mehmet Yildiz offered her to join our editorial team.

We are pleased that Noorain contributes to our publications by donating her precious time despite her busy schedule. She reviews several stories from the submission queues each day, screens problematic ones quickly, and brings them to senior editors’ attention. She also identifies talented writers and features their stories generously like this masterpiece.
