Medium March Report — 89.4% Raise in My Earning

Second-month statistics on Medium

March was my first full month on Medium after being accepted to MPP and here is my second monthly report.

To be honest, I was not expecting any skyrocketing numbers. And, as they say,

“You get what you expect!”

Kidding. I have always been a person with realistic goals. I have never expected any wonders in my life because my luck rarely favours me.

So, my only option is to — rely on my hard work!

That’s what I have been doing on Medium.

Achievements

I will first write a little bit about my achievements (I consider them achievements):

• I learned two great poetry styles (Tanka and words-limited poetry).
• I joined 5 new publications and published with them.
• I published a total of 22 articles (I am very proud of that).
• My follower count reached 500.
• I made a few more very nice friends.
• Last but not the least, I could also convince one person to become a medium member (Okay, he is my friend but still I had to convince him a lot). Read the story here:

I am patting myself for being consistent and managing to do so much for the month.

Now, the most important thing — How much money did I make this month?

Well, like I said — I was not expecting to be in the $100 club in my second month. Some people do enter that club in the first or second month.

However, with my luck in place, it is nearly impossible.

Below are my March stats for you:

1. Views: 4200+
2. Reads: 2000+
3. Fans: nearly 100
4. Followers: 515 to be precise until today (31st March)
5. Total revenue generated: $35.78

I made a total of $35.78 including $2.27 from Referred member earnings which is 89.4% raise compared to my last month's earnings.

What do you think about my progress so far?

I am elated with my performance and looking forward to an Amazing April.

My Top Wishes

I am sharing it with you all for below reasons:

• You would be able to relate to it when I would announce any of them being fulfilled
• I would be able to check how long it took for each of my wishes to come true
• I might convince someone to help me fulfil any of them

So, here they are:

1. Become a top writer on Medium.
2. Get 1000+ views on at least one of my stories (I could only manage a maximum of 205 on one of my stories — that too coming from external sources).
3. Enter the $100 club.
4. Receive my first referred member (who is not my friend)
5. Receive my first coffee (Nobody bought me any coffee in two months)

Please wish me little luck and be my reason to work harder.

In the end, I would like to copy two lines from my last report:

I did not hit any jackpot, no stories went viral.

Everything that you see above is achieved in an absolutely conventional way.
