My Medium’s February Report

First month growth statistics on medium

First things first. I would like to say thank you to all my readers who have shown interest in reading my work. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to you.

Talking about my journey so far on Medium, it was so fulfilling.

I wrote my first blog on January 17th this year.

It was just an experiment. I liked the feel of this platform.

Starting from January 24th, I wrote almost everyday till date.

I reached 100 follower’s benchmark on 8th February.

On 10th February, I was accepted in Medium Partner Program.

Medium has been a great confidence booster for me for several reasons.

Few of them are:

• I met some really kind people here.
• I am on a way to enhance my writing skills.
• This is my first successful attempt at making money online.

Although the money I made must be significantly less for many people. But, it means a lot to me.

I was so excited to see my work getting monetized even though it was as low as $0.25,

that I wrote an article about it and surprisingly it got the maximum views on any story that I have written until now.

I have been very patient with my progress over the years and was determined to be the same, here too.

I would have been more than happy if I generated enough revenue to cover my membership fees of $5.

To my surprise, I made way more than that.

Yes okay, it is not a lot but at least a lot more than what I expected.

Below are my February stats for you:

1. Views: 3000+
2. Reads: Nearly 2000
3. Fans: 500+
4. Followers: 355 to be precise until today (1st March)
5. Total revenue generated: $18.88

This is what I achieved after writing everyday for last 30 days.

What do you think about my progress so far?

I did not hit any jackpot, no stories went viral.

Everything that you see above is achieved in absolutely conventional way.

That’s all for February. I wrote this report for me to look back at my experience as a beginner and for all those who need little motivation to keep pushing.
