Marketing to Share Your Gifts
When we come from a place of abundance, everything is possible

Yesterday I decided to try something new. A friend of mine recently told me that she was interested in creating beautiful images for her business to share across all kinds of platforms. One of those she mentioned was Pinterest, which is highly visual. I discovered that from my account, I could create pins that lead to my Medium articles, my YouTube videos, and my website. It is a creative way to market my writing as well as my videos and my professional organizing business. I love how creative this was of showcasing my work is.
One of the most beautiful things in life, I find, is to discover a way of doing things that you love. Even if you did not get excited about doing something, like marketing, in the past, there is a fun way to do it. Yesterday I encountered the magical world of creating Pinterest pins, and it is the best way for me to share my work. On my 100-day journey to discovering abundance in my life, I feel that marketing is abundance. When we choose to share our work instead of hiding it away, we open ourselves up to more.
So many entrepreneurs lean into a scarcity mindset when we market our businesses. Don’t. Instead, market from a place of abundance. -Jill Celeste

Just like I discovered a way to train myself to love looking at my bank account each day, and doing my spreadsheets and accounting, I found a way to market that I enjoy. I feel that as writers, poets, and creatives, we are entrepreneurs too. There are always new ways to share our work with the world. You can create abundance for yourself every day.
Now I would like to share with you how to create pins for your articles, poems, YouTube videos, blogs, and websites.
- Go to Canva.com. Search for the template for a Pinterest pin.
- You can either use any of the free or paid templates they have for pins, or you can upload photos and add text to your own. I prefer using the photos I have chosen on a blank template.
- Download your finished image with text.
- Go to Pinterest. If you already have an account, log in. If not, create one.
- Create a board for the pins you will make. My board is for organizing. I will also create boards for my YouTube videos, poems, and more.
- Go to the Create tab and select Create pin.
- Upload your image that you downloaded from Canva.
- Add a title, a description of the pin (about the article, video, or website link)
- Add a destination link that goes straight to your article on Medium, video on YouTube, your blog, or website.
- Before you publish it, there is a drop-down menu next to the publish button for you to choose a board for the pin to go into. There is an option to create a board there too. Once you hit publish, you are done with the pin! Congratulations!
The best thing I have learned from this discovery is that when we choose to hide our work, we are cutting ourselves off from abundance. I know I was hiding for quite some time, thinking I was content in a dark corner. Now I understand that I was not allowing abundance to flow to me and to others. By sharing my work, I am coming out of the dark. I am shining my light for all to see. You never know when someone may need to read your words, watch your video, or hire you for your unique services. You have something that someone needs. Don’t cut yourself off from the opportunity to give of your talents.
My prayer and my intention for you today is that you find a way to market that feels good to you. Find a way that lights you up inside and brings out your creativity. We need your creative gifts! When you give your gifts freely, abundance will show up for you, and in turn, you can give to others. That endless circle of love starts with you.
Day #23: How can you share and market your talents today?
