Becoming Love
Day 92: Love transforms everything

I took a walk in the back garden yesterday afternoon, basking in the sunlight of October. Today is gray and cloudy. In my heart, I hold on to the sunshine. The light warms my spirit today. I feel that each day my heart opens up more and more. My soul is expanding to give out more love with each breath. This 100-day spiritual journey has been my path towards transformation. The beautiful part of traveling through life is that it never ends. As we all stretch the muscles of our spirit, we are becoming a new person each and every day. Exploring the book Letting Go by David R. Hawkins allows me to become who I am meant to be, my authentic self. At the core of each human being is immense love. We are here to discover that love inside.
Once we become willing to give love, the discovery quickly follows that we are surrounded by love and merely didn’t know how to access it. Love is actually present everywhere; its presence only needs to be realized. -David R. Hawkins

Throughout the process of letting go in the past few weeks, I can feel my thoughts changing. Now instead of everything being clouded by past events, guilt, fear, or shame, there is love in my heart. I have always loved to give and to share. I now seek to give something of myself every day. My predominant thoughts center around kindness, service, and compassion.
I find myself loving people who may not be as I expected them to be. I just love them exactly as they are. We can all love from a place of deep compassion. I have learned that you can even love from a distance, knowing that others love you in their own way. Letting go changes and transforms your heart. It allows you to be who you are to the very core of yourself.
When we have surrendered all of the resistances to love and let go of the negative feelings that block love, then the world is radiant with the splendor of love. On the level of love, this radiance is no longer hidden from us. -David R. Hawkins
I feel as though I started this journey in a dark tunnel. Each day little sparks of light began to reveal themselves along my path. Today that light shines brighter, radiating love at every turn. In my prayers, my thoughts, and my actions, I can choose love. In many ways, this brings so much freedom to my life. I can simply ask myself: What is the loving thought here?
The most beautiful and profound thing about being alive on Earth is that we have the opportunity to learn. We learn through our experiences with others and with ourselves. Each day we are given a new lesson, a chance to grow our hearts. When we go through the process of letting go, each day we get closer to our spirit’s mission.
Love empowers us, and the people around us, to do things that we would not be capable of otherwise. -David R. Hawkins
It may seem like we are in an impossible storm at this very moment. This year has been a trying experience. However, I believe that when we focus on love, we will overcome the obstacles. Sometimes we need to break apart to become whole. This is what my journey has taught me so far. We need to be willing to go into the dark corners of our hearts. We can become love for ourselves and others when we walk this path.
My prayer and my intention for you today is that you find love in your heart. Trust that love will guide you in whatever you do today. The universe is here to lead you down the path to find your true self. Radiate love and forgiveness to yourself and others today.
How can you become love today?
