Day 91: By surrendering we open up a world of creativity

After dinner last night, I had a sudden inspiration to change several things on my website. Usually, I don’t work in the evenings. My creativity and inspiration come in the mornings most days. However, I felt as if a block had been removed from my path, and I was finally able to work more on my business yesterday. I feel as though surrender has lifted a tremendous weight from my shoulders, and I am now able to become who I am meant to be. On this 100-day spiritual journey, one of the most important practices I have come upon is letting go. It is so simple, yet so profound. The process is deep and emotional, yet it leads to a fantastic hidden world deep within. This and more is what I am discovering as I explore the book Letting Go by David R. Hawkins.

When the clouds are removed, the sun shines forth. The freeing up of abilities, creative ideas, talents, and resourcefulness occur automatically as a result of the positive state of mind that ensues when the negative aspects have been surrendered. -David R. Hawkins

I hadn’t made improvements to my website, asked for feedback from my clients, or had any deep inspiration to make any changes in my business for a long time. Sometimes I worried that I was focusing too much on other things. However, I believe that spending a great deal of time letting-go has given me the gift of feeling creative and entrepreneurial again. Since I started to surrender, I have received opportunities, ideas, and support from others. This is the result of giving things over to the divine.

Suddenly, I feel as though a river of creative ideas and improvements have sprung up into existence. By letting go, you allow more to flow to you. Surrendering to what is opens up a dimension once unknown to you in which dreams effortlessly unfold. Once we let go, we are rewarded by the universe.

My prayer and my intention for you today is that you open yourself up to creativity. What ideas can you let flow by letting go? Every inspiration that you receive is a gift from the divine. Act upon the nudges from your spirit today. Know that you are being guided to do something great. Trust that you are at the right place a the right time.

How can you let your creativity flow today?
