Medium Tools
ManyStories Review
Sharing your writing on new platforms

ManyStories is part of the Penname platform. Penname is a platform of integrated websites dedicated to content distribution and discovery; a place where writers grow their audience and readers discover stories.
If you have read my previous articles on Medium Tools, you may have noticed my reviews of Smedian and Signal, which are also part of the Penname platform, and created by Medium veteran and software developer, Lincoln W Daniel.
If you are trying to expand your audience beyond the same Medium readers, then ManyStories is a must!
Share and discover all of the world’s stories.
-ManyStories

As a writer, you can share all your stories regardless of where your stories are published. This includes, but is not limited to Medium articles. ManyStories allows writers to build up their profile, reach more readers, and communicate with their audience.
While ManyStories is for articles from any source, it is very easy to navigate for existing Medium users.
- Create an account. You can even login using your Medium credentials!
- Share your story. Simply paste the link to your story in the box below the text “Share your story.”

3. Add tags to make your story searchable.
That’s it!
ManyStories is great because it allows writers to find new readers who are not part of the Medium platform and allows writers to find a pool of writers, with a disproportionately high number of active Medium writers, as well!
ManyStories has a sleek interface, allows for writer communication, and even has featured stories. With a smaller audience than Medium (but active and growing) it can be the perfect place to achieve recognition for a story passed over by Medium curators or a publication.

Another benefit of ManyStories is that the site has relatively high domain authority, and can be a great way to improve the search results associated with your author name or story titles.
For example, when I run a google search for my name now, on the bottom of the first page or top of the second page I consistently see my ManyStories profile. This is quite impressive as I am very active on the platforms ranked ahead of it. It even approaches my Quora page which has very high domain authority:

It even ranks well for Google Image searches:

ManyStories is on my go-to share list for all my important stories and it is definitely an underutilized tool by many Medium writers!
