I went for a walk to Lodi Gardens in Delhi.

Do you know I missed all my nature lover friends so much?

It was a sprawling garden with some monuments as well.

I was inspired by the history and beauty of nature in my walk and I call upon you to make me aware of a garden with a historical background.

Lodi gardens are very popular in New Delhi the capital city of India. It is known to be a sprawling garden with a lot of fresh air.

It has monuments over there and then a lot of green vegetation with trees, sticks, and leaves.

It is also known for its beautiful flowers.

There are fountains to enjoy.

A neat clean walking pathway for people to enjoy a walk in any part of the day they are comfortable going at.

I am sure you would love to come with me but we are all so far away from each other.

Let us meet midway. I will describe the history behind this park. You describe the history of the park that you visit anywhere in the world.

I know that there are many gardens around the world that have some history around them.

These are the gardens we are trying to look for. In other words, the prompt is

This week's beautiful posts on Water bodies

I wish to express my thanks to all the writers of the beautiful posts with out-of-the-world pictures clicked by themselves.

William J Spirdione: wrote an amazing story about his visit to Niagra Falls. The photos are amazing and the write-up brought me memories of my visit to Niagra.

Wendi Gordon: She wrote about the amazing and unbelievable beauty of the undersea world and the diversity of the marine animals Read about some incredible underwater encounters of hers over the years.

Joyce Nielsen: A beautiful adventure in the Kayak which is different from a canoe. Enjoy the journey in the San Juan islands.

Josephine Crispin: is faced with the fear of water and yet she has received so many blessings from water. Fear is a challenge she has tried to overcome but she also has the acceptance of the wonders of the sea.

Pene Hodge: writes about the fear and happiness of water. To her, “the ocean will forever remain a mystery and a keeper of secrets. It brings me closer to the magnificence of the creator. I marvel at its beauty and respect its power.” I think these words show the power of the ocean and it resonates with most

Elder Taoist: Has a house around the ocean and loves a bench. So has built a bench to sit and enjoy nature.

Mary Louisa Cappelli, MFA, JD, PhD: A friendship between a human being and a sea lion. See what the oceans offer us and how we treat nature’s inhabitants.

Elder Taoist: Rainwater storage is necessary as “Taoism teaches ways to achieve harmony with the unplanned rhythms of the universe”. Elder Taoist wishes to work with the natural rhythms of the land, plants, birds, and animals

Joyce Nielsen: I was absolutely in awe of nature when I read Joyce’s words “Nature presented us with wonder and excitement every day we spent at Wilderness Bay. The loons fascinated our family with their distinctive cry and plumage. The females had babies hitching a ride on their backs. The takeoff before the flight was spectacular. It has the most haunting wilderness cry I’ve ever heard”. Amazing description of the sounds of nature.

Mulan: Amazing description of the ever-changing sky with clouds touched by a magician with a wand. You will be mesmerized by the photos. Amazing!

Mani Goel: Loves rainbows and finds them very special for it is not every day that you see a magical rainbow

As you can see we have posts from William Spiridione, Elder Taoist, Wendi Gorden, Joyce Nielsen, Josephine Crispin, Mary Louisa Cappelli, Mulan, Pene Hodge, and Mani Goel.

I would request the readers to read and enjoy the posts.

In particular, I have a small task for the writers. If each of you who submitted the post read all the other 8 posts.

You will have 8 more views and 400 more claps as each of the authors must read and give 50 claps. You can read it in two or three days. I am sure the reciprocity will shine and make you and me happy.

I would like to tag a few people. Dr. Fatima Imam, Michele Maize (The Sober Vegan Yogi), Libby Shively McAvoy, Pamela Oglesby, B.R. Shenoy, Remi Roy, Freda Savahl, Nicole Hilbig, Shameem Anwar, Neera Handa Dr, Suma Narayan, Prahalad Rajkumar, Annelise Lords, Anne Bonfert, Krishna V Chaudhary

Of course, it is free for all to write about a garden/park that has some history. There are no restrictions. Some people who have been traveling should definitely make us aware of these beautiful places.

Do remember to put two tags, Nature and Reciprocal

Add two writers with their posts you have read.

Waiting to become aware of historical gardens/parks from you all!
