I’ve written 28 Medium stories this month so far
It’s halfway through November and I’ve written and published 28 stories on Medium!
Writing a few dozen stories for the month is a lot but the truth is, it doesn’t feel like work for me because:
- I get to pick the topics I write about
- Little to no research is done on most of my stories
- I write short form content, for the most part
How picking my own topics helps me write a lot
It’s simple.
Write what you want and you can create an endless stream of content to publish online effortlessly. This is one of the reasons why I love website flipping so much.
I get to pick the niche of the website I build, create content in that niche then flip the site for profit when I’m ready.
And, because I get to choose what I write about, the topics are based on my own body of knowledge and expertise.
As a result, little research needs to be done on my stories since it’s based on my profession, my personal projects, business, and experience.
Then, my stories are usually pretty short, no longer than 1,000 words or so. These are super fast to write, edit and get published.
My process is rinse and repeat.
I do it week after week and it’s going to help me publish 50+ stories this month just like I did in October.
So, if you want to write a lot every month, I encourage you to write about what you want.

What does 28 Medium stories get you?
So far I have over 200K views on my stories in the last 30 days…

My income halfway through the month has exceeded the entire month of October and I’m absolutely thrilled!
That means I’ll be having another record-breaking month and I am so incredibly grateful. I really never thought I’d make any more than $50 to $100 per month from Medium.

Can you believe I was making just $3 a month a few months ago?
Where do things go from here?
I’m writing more on Medium and writing less on News Break. News Break is tough to write for sometimes but I like the challenge so I keep at it.
I’m hoping to end the month of November with 50+ stories on Medium.
In December I always take the last two months of the year off so I’ll probably batch write a bunch of stories and schedule them out for the rest of the year.
How is your Medium writing going?
And, how do you plan to end the year?
