I increased my earnings almost 4 times in October

Today I am very excited to show you guys my Medium’s earnings in the month of October.

If you have read my story about my goals for October, you will know that I challenged myself to write and publish daily because it’s quite famous with new writers, to get some good results on Medium.

But I failed publishing daily due to my illness but despite all this, I got some good results that I was not expecting.

October Analytics

I not only met all my goals for October but also exceeded some of them.

  • My goal was to publish 30 stories in October but failed to do so. And uploaded 20 stories.
  • My goal was to get 1,500 to 1,700 views in October and over exceeded it by getting 2,090 views and 879 reads. The reads are not great but it’s almost 40% to 45% of the views, which is a good read-ratio.
  • My goal was to gain 170 fans in October and also exceeded it by getting 247 fans.
  • My goal in terms of followers was to get 40 to 50 followers and I expected to complete 100 followers in October. But it also exceeded, I got 85 new followers in October and completed my 100 followers mark. I have 123 followers now.
  • And this is the moment that you were waiting for, the income report. My goal for October was to earn $15 to $20, But it crossed all my expectations, and earned $31.69.

I was expecting good growth from the 30-days writing challenge but not like this.

I almost exceeded all the goals that I have settled for October. And this is due to one reason, In October two of my stories went viral and were giving me some great results every day.

But as you know, everything has an end. The stories performed only for a week and then died. But it gave me some great results and boosted my Medium career.

In October, Medium gave me 2 dollars for free without any views, which also adds to my October’s earning.
