In Joy And In Sadness, Flowers Are Our Friends
Nature prompt week 3 January 2023
I went to a flower show held by the small Industries organization in Delhi. This was the first flower show that I have been to see this year. The decorations were creative and amazing.
There were many ideas put together to make the show a happy and enjoyable place to be in for a visit.
Looking at the flowers I thought that In Joy And In Sadness, Flowers Are Our Friends
When there is the joy we celebrate with flowers. We give flowers to people on their birthdays, we present flowers on anniversaries. We decorate the wedding halls with flowers.
Let us not forget couples present each other with flowers and often flowers are presented as a proclamation of love.
The churches and temples are decorated with flowers at festivals. We see many malls decorated with flowers on Christmas, New year, and other festivals around the world.
Flowers are our true friends. They do not speak but they show us that they bring joy to our lives.
Flowers do not leave us even on sad occasions. We lay beautiful wreaths on the person when they die and also decorate them with flowers.
Flowers bring color to our lives.
Flowers are not selfish. They bloom next to each other. They spread love. Let us honor them and make friends with each other with no malice and grow together.

This week let us think of flowers that we love. There must be many flowers and different seasons. Australia is experiencing summer and other countries have winter but there must be some flowers blooming everywhere.

Our prompt was My Experiences With Snow
William loves the snow and was lamenting that the snow took so long to come and it is so light compared to the previous year. It timed itself with the prompt. When it came he wrote a beautiful poem to express his feelings about the cold fresh crispiness of snow that looked like crystal sparkling flakes.
It is a joy to see the pictures of Joyce and her daughter enjoying the snow. Joyce is so adventurous. I felt I was on a trip with her and managing to keep up with her as she is moving in the snow or skiing out there. downhill ski areas. All her children love to play in the snow. She went tobogganing and snowshoeing.
Terry has given many experiences with snow as he moved to different places. Do note that he wants you to be aware that snow is beautiful for visitors and for other people who go for winter sports but people who live there are affected by the hardship it causes. Snow has to be cut to make it livable.
Caroline had some amazing experiences with snow when she was young and later too. Yet the snow and ice freeze her now because she moved from a cold country and adopted South Africa as her country of choice. Beautiful pictures for you to see.
Duncan has written about “Miss Smilla’s Feeling for Snow”?Snow is important to the story because it is a dominant presence in the novel’s setting, the city of Copenhagen.
The novel is set in the winter, and the snow and ice play a significant role in shaping the characters’ environment and experiences.
Hermione prefers the crisp, white snow to the cold, dreary, windy, and dull weather. Quoting her words “The snow reflects the light and casts a glow over everything, wrapping it in a blanket. You can take new steps in the snow. It is as though everything is created anew.”
Aarti feels that snow sprinkles a certain kind of magic into the world. Snow invokes our inner child and we enjoy playing in the snow like we did when we were younger.
Snowfall is magical, as it showers droplets of purity in its remarkable snowflakes. Each has its distinctive shape that is never replicated. How can one not be impressed by its charm and beauty?
In Japanese, there are three different types of characters: Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji. Snow is written in Kanji. Shizu’s beautiful brush strokes, and, her focus, and her serenity she moves the brush on the paper. She writes the character and she feels she becomes part of snow herself.
My favorite and unexpected place to see the snow was in the desert; it is the most awe-inspiring. It doesn’t happen often, but when it does, it looks incredible.
She has seen the sea in many spaces, places, and seasons, and for many reasons. Her perspective is that we exist because of the seas that surround us. We exist in a Sea for nine months, before we are disgorged onto land?
Marta loves to tend to her plants. She finds that it has a soothing calming effect on her. She waters it and the end result is the proud display of the plants in their house in a beautiful cart.
