How to Make Miracles Happen
Beware of the magic of miracles

Why do we always believe in miracles?
The short answer is: because they are. But what does this actually mean? What’s a miracle anyway, and why do we believe in them so deeply? Let me try to answer these questions for you.
A miracle is anything that happens out of the blue, our life full of surprises. It’s easy to find possible examples- an old friend who shows up after many years or a miraculous escape from danger- but rarely do we think about the whole day as a series of miracles. One via an unexpected connection with another human being that lasts for just a moment and one by avoiding injury on a slippery sidewalk thanks to intuition, among innumerable other minor occurrences every day.
Miracles are so recognizable, so ubiquitous, so ordinary. When you think about it, everything around us is miraculous. The sun rises every day on schedule. We can read this article because of many interlocking miracles that went into making this computer, the Internet connection that makes the article available to us, and even your hand holding the mouse that moves the cursor on the screen, which lets you read the text on this screen.
Miracles are always unexpected, yet they are still realities that are there all the time. You have your fingers crossed for the hope that something so good will happen. But you don’t know how to manifest miracles at will, so you wait for one to come your way. Yet when it does arrive, it doesn’t seem as beautiful as it once was before. You were sure you wanted this to be true, but now that it’s here in front of us, what do we do? Do we take a chance and try again with the hope of another miracle? Or do we take comfort in knowing that if something is honest enough to happen- then it is natural enough not too late to abandon our expectations altogether?
Let me try to answer that for you.
First, miracles are always unexpected but still realities that are there all the time. This is why people continue to believe in them, even when they don’t seem to be happening. Life is full of surprises, so it shouldn’t take much convincing to convince us of their existence.
The second reason the never-ending miracle story is so beautiful and believable is that we all can see them happen in our life every single day. We see the good things happen, and we see the bad ones. We all have our own miracles in life, so it is easy to believe real.
The third reason why miracles will always be believable is because of how much they resemble reality. Every day you wake up, go about your daily routine and do what needs to be done for survival on this planet. You eat food, sleep, work- all of these tasks are just like a miracle! When you realize that everything you do every day is just like a miracle, it becomes very hard not to believe in them anymore.
A fourth reason why miracles will always be believable is that if something was really happening out there somewhere- then wouldn’t we know about it? Wouldn’t we hear about it over and over again? Wouldn’t people write books or make movies about their experiences with them? If someone could get a fantastic story out of some supernatural event, wouldn’t everyone want to read or watch that movie? Of course! So when someone tells us that something happened at one time, but no one knows anything about it now; well, I don’t think anyone would doubt their story any more than they would doubt seeing an old friend who has been gone for years suddenly walk into their house unannounced after being lost at sea for decades before she even knew her name!
And finally, my last point as to why miracles will always be believable: every time we talk about a miracle that happened, we show that we believe in them. We can see how much it makes us happy to talk about the miracles that happen to us and how it makes us sad when nothing happens around us. We love and care so much about the miracles in our life- so much so that we try to find ways to make sure they keep happening!
So there you have it- the why’s and how’s of all this.
