Why losing weight remains my biggest health issue.
Me — drinking my gallon of water a day.

Between my grief and moving forward, I have gained weight, my "Kummerspeck."Most people did, and while it may sound cliché, to love yourself and be kind to ourselves, we still have to work on that belly fat — fast.
Lose Weight in 30 Days, no excuses.
This is an update, it is March 2022, and while I have been very close a few times to achieve my weight loss or fat loss goals, I find myself now still above my optimum weight.
I have moved forward, but not the weight on my scale. I'm still a stay-at-home writer, and being at home is both a plus and minus as I try to lose weight.
If I can lose weight fast without any exercise, that will be great, since right now I have limited physical activity. I have been delaying any exercise as part of my goal to lose weight. However, I know I need to add some strength training exercises to keep the weight off.
I watched a video that only has six exercises to help one lose weight, and hopefully, I can add it soon to my regimen.
It is possible to lose 20 pounds of body fat in 30 days by optimizing any of three factors: exercise, diet, or drug/supplement regimen.
Tim wrote about a slow-carb diet instead of Cyclical Ketogenic Diet (CKD), and he outlined four simple rules to Lose Weight in 30 days. And the weight that he lost was all fat loss; we need to focus on how to burn fat.
Rule #2: Eat the same few meals over and over again
The most successful dieters, regardless of whether their goal is muscle gain or fat loss, eat the same few meals over and over again. Mix and match, constructing each meal with one from each of the three following groups:
I have to agree with Tim. Keeping a meal simple is easier to prepare, and you have no excuse for not knowing what to eat.
Keypoint to remember — Make it simple, high protein, add some veggies.
Rule #3: Don't drink calories
I need to remind myself to drink as much water as possible every day. I have done the drinka gallon of water a day challenge. I can do that most times, but there are days when I forget, which is why I need to add it to my to-do list using Microsoft to-do list.
I should also need to cut down on adding milk to my coffee.
Can I have milk in coffee on the keto diet?
I know that it is better to use whipped cream instead of milk.
Water is the best. Plain black coffee is second. If you drink wine occasionally like Tim, do so because the one thing that can hurt your diet is when you feel deprived.
Keypoint to remember — Don't add calories with what you drink.
Rule #4: Take one day off per week.
I recommend Saturdays as your “Dieters Gone Wild” day. I am allowed to eat whatever I want on Saturdays, and I go out of my way to eat ice cream, Snickers, Take 5, and all of my other vices in excess.
This could work to some, but sadly, it becomes a cheat week and a cheat month when I do a cheat day. So again, it all depends on your willpower.
Tim mentioned that a spike in caloric intake helps with fat loss.
Keypoint to remember — Reward yourself by eating anything once a week. It helps you lose weight in 30 days.
