How to Develop Your Dog’s Hidden Intelligence

Introducing a unique training program that attracted my attention

Are you a pet owner? Do you like dogs? If so, you might find this post interesting and helpful.

As a dog lover, I keep an eye out for dog training programs. I am a member of various dog communities on social media.

The training programs that I reviewed so far were about making behavioral changes to dogs to make them docile and obey the rules.

Previously I wrote about an interesting initiative in the UK titled Joipaw Is a Company Dedicated to Developing Beneficial Video Games for Dogs. Some subscribers found this story interesting and encouraged me to post similar articles.

I came across a new program raising the intelligence of dogs. It is called Brain Training For Dogs — Adrienne Farricelli’s Online Dog Trainer.

Adrienne Farricelli developed the program. She is a professional CPDT-KA certified dog trainer.

For the last ten years, Adrienne has been helping people to eliminate bad behaviors in dogs and train well-behaved, obedient, loving pets by showing them how to bring out the ‘hidden intelligence’ inside their dogs.

In this story, my goal is to introduce you to this program by briefly explaining what this course is and what it includes.

About Brain Training for Dogs

This course is intended to help dog owners train their dogs in a non-aggressive way. The focus is on behavioral change with encouragement.

It provides ways to reveal your dog's “hidden intelligence” so that your dog will obey you within a healthy relationship instead of one in which he or she fears you.

This course was created after years of research with behavioral aspects of a dog's mind with healthy and gentle training kept in mind. It highly differs from the “OUTDATED force and dominance techniques” in Adrienne’s perspective.

A Brief Introduction to Modules

This course has seven modules that owners can slowly progress through with their dogs to train them to behave and obey their owners.

Here’s a brief introduction to each module which is elaborated on at Adrienne’s site.

1 — Preschool

You will learn to keep your dogs attention, look into your eyes, and pay attention for the reward of connecting with you.

2 — Elementary School

You will learn to relieve your dog's boredom, keep them out of trouble, and drain their energy with simple games.

3 — High School

You will learn to teach your dog patience and impulse control with simple games and treats.

4 — College

You will learn to teach your dog to concentrate on your commands and develop its mental agility, patience, calmness, and dexterity.

5 — University

You will learn to develop your dog's patience and intelligence to create a strong bond and increase their confidence.

6 — Graduation

You will learn to develop your dog's advanced motor skills and intelligence with positional and verbal commands.

7 — Einstein

You will learn to train your dog to complete certain simple tasks, such as stacking rings and tidying up their toys.

Final Words

If you are a dog lover like me, you might find this program very interesting.

Every dog owner knows how difficult it can be to get a dog to behave properly without having to resort to harsh measures.

One of my neighbors yells at the dog, and it concerns me. The poor dog starts crying and showing her fear. I sometimes pat her with compassion and offer bones. She always jumps on me and tries to lick my face.

This course might also be helpful for dog trainers who are looking for a different and more gentle way to train dogs.
