Can We Really Make $300,000 with Product Reviews without Social Media and Existing Audience?

According to Jenn Leach, it is possible. Here’s what I learned from her recent story.

Usually, during the weekend, I review and publish 10 to 20 stories from the Illumination submission queue as my time allows. One of the drafts submitted by Jenn Leach inspired me to write this short story. I reviewed and published this story on Illumination earlier day.

I have been following the interesting and educative stories of Jenn for several months. She is one of the most informative writers, regularly sharing her stories on Illumination and Medium. She writes concisely and to the point.

Today, I’d like to briefly introduce her recent story titled “$300,000 With Product Reviews?: Make money anonymously, no social media, no audience required.”

I really want to like to explore these ideas.

Jenn introduced several programs in this story. I was not aware of any of them. Therefore they were interesting to me, and I’d like to explore them.

I’d like to touch on what I understand from her story and would love to obtain your feedback if you are part of these programs.

The first one is the NewsBreak program, but it does not apply to me as I don’t live in the United States. I believe they don’t accept writers from Australia, where I live.

The second one is the Snapchat Spotlight program. I have been using Snapchat for so long, but I had no idea they paid a million dollars per day. I will explore this opportunity.

By the way, Snapchat is a multimedia messaging app that allows users to send and receive photos, videos, and messages. It allows users to send messages that disappear after they have been viewed by the recipient.

Snapchat also has a feature called “Stories,” which allows users to post photos and videos that are visible to their friends for 24 hours before they are deleted.

In addition to messaging, Snapchat also offers a range of filters and lenses that users can apply to their photos and videos to make them more attractive or humorous. Snapchat is available on iOS and Android devices.

After Snapchat, The third one Jenn mentions is Pinterest Creator Rewards. I joined Pinterest earlier this year, but I didn’t know about this program. I only shared a few stories from Medium, and they received a few impressions. So, I thought it was useless.

I know some writers pin their stories to Illumination’s pinboard created by Dr. Mehmet Yildiz. I learned how to use Pinterest but couldn’t find anything about the creator program. If you know about it or wrote an article, please leave a comment on the story.

I will certainly explore Snapchat and Pinterest opportunities.

In addition, Jenn introduced the Amazon Influencer Program. I have never heard about it. I guess it requires registration with Amazon, which I plan to do so soon.

What I like about this is we can earn commission by creating review videos. I love creating videos and podcasts and even have a publication titled ADD.

Many thanks to Jenn for informing us about this interesting program which can be great for YouTubers. I enjoy shopping from Amazon and would love to review my favorite products. Who knows, I might start generating a new income stream.

By the way, I also started learning about affiliate marketing recently. I completed a book authored by Dr. Mehmet Yildiz titled The Power of Digital Affiliate Marketing: How Authors Can Write More And Earn Passive Income. I found the chapters on Medium, which is a free read for members. It took me only three hours to complete.

After completing the book, I created a web page adding some of my favorite products and services, mainly from Clickbank. It was very easy, as explained in this book chapter. Selecting each product and adding them to your website takes five to ten minutes.

I only started a few weeks ago and haven’t earned any commission yet, but I might when I start gaining some traffic to my new website. It requires advertising and promotion, which I plan to do during the Christmas and New Year holidays.

I believe it might take a year or so to start getting traffic as I plan to create blog posts regularly on my website. I met several writers who do affiliate marketing successfully and learned from their stories.

So Jenn gave us several great ideas. They are on my back burner now. Even though she believes no audience and social media are required, I believe we need to develop our audience to remain competitive in the market.

I recently read an article titled 6 Reasons You Can’t Make Money Online Despite Your Hard Work. This story showed me reality as I used to think online business was easy. Now, I know that is simple but not easy. It is as hard as traditional business.

I hope Jenn’s inspiring and Dr. Yildiz’s realistic stories can give you a balanced view of online business. Each author gives us different perspectives.
