$300,000 With Product Reviews?

Amazon Influencer Program (with onsite commissions)
The Amazon influencer program is not a new program in itself but the onsite commissions feature is new.
If you’re in the Amazon influencer program, you’re a creator and you get a chance to create an Amazon storefront with your favorite Amazon products.
You can then go on and share that storefront link with your audience. When they click the Amazon links in your store and buy, you earn a commission.
This is NOT the same as being in the Amazon Associates program, by the way. They are two separate programs and yes, you can be in both.
The Amazon onsite commissions feature…
The onsite commissions feature as a part of the Amazon Influencer Program, allows you to submit video reviews of Amazon products, which can be featured on the Amazon product pages.
If you’ve ever shopped Amazon, you might have seen video reviews on some of the product pages.
Your video review can potentially get featured there and if it is, and people click and buy the product, then you earn a commission!
The way I understand it, it would be videos like these…
This is huge because previously, you had to have an audience to share your Amazon links with. This could be followers on your Medium account, subscribers of your email newsletter, your Instagram followers or YouTube audience, etc.
Now, NO AUDIENCE is needed and you’ll get a chance at making money off of Amazon’s audience!

I’m just so excited for this opportunity and my head is spinning.
How do you get started?
First, you need to be in the Amazon influencer program.
You’ll sign up to join and if you get approved, that’s the first step!
The next step is to request to get approved for onsite commissions.
Basically, you’re going to upload three product review videos.
They must meet their criteria to be approved (i.e. video length, file size, etc.). It takes a few days for the videos to be reviewed for your acceptance into the onsite commissions program.
You can see in the above screenshot I’m not approved yet.

- Your shoppable content may be selected to appear to customers as they browse Amazon for products and services
- Your shoppable content includes: photos, videos, ideas lists, and livesterams

How much can you really make? Is it worth it?
I am not in the program yet.
I’ve applied and I’m waiting for my content to be reviewed for approval so I’m not speaking based on personal experience.
This Tik Tok video (go to the comments) revealed that the creator earned $17K in two months!

This program is early.
I think a lot of people don’t know about it yet. It’s an amazing opportunity for creators.
Amazon commissions tend to be low so I wouldn’t expect to earn a high commission off each sale. It’s more of a volume game.
For example, if you earn 3% off a $40 purchase, that’s only $1.20 commission but, if you referred 8,500 of those $40 purchases, that would be $10,200.
Amazon is a huge marketplace. Sellers are making up to tens of thousands and hundreds of thousands of dollars in sales each month. This is your opportunity to earn a tiny piece of that, in Amazon commission.
Why I’m excited about this side hustle?
It’s a new opportunity which means it’s not so saturated yet and there’s a chance to make a lot of money (I think).
While this isn’t a passive income opportunity, filming the products you bought on Amazon in video using your smartphone to post on Amazon is pretty low effort, in my opinion.
I wouldn’t mind doing this 100 times a week if it earned me an extra four figures per month, for example.
