How To Actually Grow Your Social Medias in 2024
If You are you tired of the same advice over and over again. Think different from 89% of creators with these tips.
It’s 2024, everyone is tired of hearing over and over again the advices and strategies every content creator around tells,
“Be consistent, “you need to show up every day” ,” post this”, “post that” “do this 3 times per week” “have discipline”, “wake up early”, “trade your soul for subs”
All of this generic stuff you see in 19 out of 20 posts, while some of them a solid advice and even work,
well,
it’s getting boring.
What if instead of this generic stuff that we all heard over and over again, someone told you something new?
That’s why this article is here for,
Without further delays, I gathered the 6 best and non generic tips I could find and compiled them here.
Understand and implement these strategies to grow your social media.
1- Use Three Level Hooks.
You probably heard by now the headline is the most important part of any content, we know that.
Actually even people from 1950 and before knew that,
that’s not something new, people always paid millions for magazine and newspaper covers,
And what’s written on it can make or break the sales.
But what If I told you the headline is just the Level 1 of a hook? And that every hook can have at least 3 levels.
- The Headline is level 1.
It’s the big attention catcher, responsible for stunning people, and making them stop.
You have to use persuasion, attack pain points and some other copywriting techniques, to craft a good headline, I consider it an art.
In boxing would be that fast strong jab that connects straight to the face. Even if does not knock the opponent down, it will shake him a little , stop for a second and think:
“sh*t that connected”.
If you want more tips on headlines:
- The visual, photo or thumbnail is level 2.
You can even add more text and pack information on them.
“A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words”.
If the headline is designed to make people stop and check what it’s about,
the thumbnail is responsible for telling the story in one second to spark curiosity.
Just remember to not make it too spammy that it ends up being ugly, and visually heavy
And I would suggest learning a little about color patterns, it will work wonders.
Put the same amount of effort on the thumbnail as you would on the headline.
*In most video content, the thumbnail is what makes people click.
If you type “How to Something” on youtube, and 50 videos pop with the same title, what’s gonna make you choose the one you click on?
- The subtitle is Level 3.
Think about the subtitle of a text as your salesperson.
(nowadays also known as a meta description for web pages or a videos),
And the job of this salesperson is to argue and convince your potential customer why he should choose your content or product over the others.
It’s like a sales pitch with the goal of convincing the user that the exact information he is looking for is in that page and nowhere else.
*For texts and blog posts the points 1 and 3 are more important, but for video content, it all mostly down to the thumbnail.
2- Create Binge Consuming Content. (Series)
Do you know why Netflix is making more than 4 Billions Us Dollars per year?
“Just one more episode”
You need to start thinking of your content as a series which people will consume,
maybe daily, maybe all at once and then they will crave for more because they read all and the information inside is so good that it makes people curious and leave them wanting more.
Good content is like a drug, people crave for more,
they want to know where it goes, how’s the end,
to just get more and more.
While having one/ two posts or videos that go viral might be good, after the 5 viral minutes goes away, if you don’t have a following for your series it’s over.
-Create a pattern, -Follow the patterns -Bring different information and solve one pain point at a time.
And do it in a way people will just endlessly consume your content.
3. Use the same tags.
If You try to grow everywhere, you won’t grow anywhere.
It’s easier to create and grow something in 1 tag, than trying 1000 different ones.
The reason for this is because sometimes you create a good piece a little bit outside of your niche and get a few people from different niches,
But then they become ghost followers since the content you created just made sense for one subject they like and all your other content has nothing to do with it.
Always make sure the tags are related to the content you are creating,
and use the same constantly, because then that tag will become “yours”
4. The Name Is Social Media, Be social.
I Know, I Know…
I also believe you should all follow me because I am amazing and have the best tips for weight loss and healthy fitness lifestyle,
Plus why the f should I step down from my throne here and interact with fellow mortal humans, Since I am the best around and you should all listen to me?
Well…
Because all the others also think the same sh*t, so lower your ego, and understand that before you get anything, first you need to give.
Is like a tree, first you plant seeds, then you get the fruits.
And If you are on social media, and don’t want to interact, why are you even here again?
For Money?
And how do you plan on getting money from people if you don’t even talk to them, that’s not how selling works.
Why would anyone hand money over to you? Doesn’t make any sense right?
Interact, be social, be yourself, add worth and value, point out points.
Believe it or not, you are free to do whatever,
And if you are afraid of “judgment” you sure don’t deserve to be on the internet.
Follow 10 15 pages or people from stuff you like, interact with them,
create true connections.
Not only “hey great article, thanks for sharing”, this sounds like a bot, this is not a group of recovering addicts, bring something to the table and we consume it.
4.2 Encourage people to interact on your pages and social media.
Yes, you can also tell people to be social, remember the famous CTAs?
So C’mon, start now, take a second of your day, and write whatever you want to write down in the comments, but make it sure it doesn’t sound like a bot please.
5. Optimize your profile.
Your profile needs to be the best landing page you have around.
Tell people what you do, who are you, where you experience comes from, and make the experience of “binge watching” part of your profile.
Make it easier for people to take the action you are telling them to do.
Use Keywords on the profile and tell what you do.
If your profile doesn’t catch attention, that will tell a lot already about the rest.
6. Build email list
Your Instagram account can be banned today and there is nothing you can do about it.
You facebook can be blocked, and all your followers might disappear from day to night.
Your Youtube channel might get blocked and ggwp.
The only thing no one can steal from you or remove, is your email list,
No one can control your email list.
The list of people who read and follow your work it’s yours, and you need to have it.
Start gathering the email of your readers/ followers and save it in 3 different backups.
You can do this by creating a freebie, a free product with some information that people want to have.
Give something for free in exchange or an email.
You see people doing this all around, the reason is because If you don’t have an email list,
you can disappear from day to night.
