The Rule Is Simple. 1440 Minutes per Day, And It’s All An Outcome of How You Spend Those.

Read this to stop wasting time with the bullsh*t you tell yourself.

Look please, You have a lot of seconds right?

Give me at least 30 of them so you don’t destroy my writer’s ratio, and then if you think it’s not worth, you can go back to spending your sacred limited existence in the way you choose to.

Closer or Further

Here’s a secret of life:

The only real difference between you, some person you admire so much, and the person you want to become.

Is how they use every single second of the 24 hours they all get in their day. How every single decision throughout their day is made.

Read that again, and let it sink.

All the actions made on our day, will either take us closer to our goal, or further away from it,

No middle ground in life, everything else is just an illusion.

Rich.

I see lots of people having the idea of “Rich” being about the number you have in your bank account.

Well,

One little advice which I had to learn the hard way for you:

It doesn’t matter how much money you have, you still can’t buy time.

People with a lot of money don’t think about money because they know they can afford whatever it is.

They think in time, they decide if they want to spend time with that or not, If they get quality worth from it or not.

Having more than enough to supply your needs and your wants, doesn’t matter what they are, makes you understand this, once you become able to say “If I want I buy”, you stop caring about most of the things.

And also realize most people just care about the money.

You realize that the amazing super sports car, it’s just another car.

The big mega 30 room house with pool, tennis court and soccer field will just be a lot of places to clean and cost of that probably won bring a decent ROI for the amount of time you will use.

Everything you to do becomes about exchanging money for time, the complete opposite of poor people, who normally trade time for money.

When you have more than enough money, the real challenge you face is controlling yourself.

To not destroy yourself and deviate in every direction, falling in every temptation which appears in front of you, losing the worth of things while you see the price of it.

When you reach the position in life where you can literally get anything you want with the swipe of a card.

The only challenge is controlling yourself.

But the important thing which most don’t realize,

is if you can’t organize and control yourself with little money, and very little opportunities,

getting more will just lead to more everything,

including more mess in your life.

If you can’t reach the point of, not doing something not because you can’t afford, but because you don’t need to.

Getting more money, is just more trouble.

Choices

Think like this:

We are mortals, We are born, We live and We die, that is the cycle of life of every being in this world doesn’t matter what.

Supposing you didn’t have to worry about going out and work your ass off to pay some bills, all your needs were paid, how would you spend the 24 hours of your day?

How would you actually live? And not just survive.

If you answer that question by:

“I would buy ….whatever”, “I would get this, get that….”, “I would go here, I would go there”

You will never be satisfied and happy, because you’re looking for satisfaction from external sources,

You are putting your mind state on external stuff.

If you answer that question in that way, it just means you’re not ready for it, and still need to do a lot of inner work and learn a lot about yourself, what you like and enjoy in life.

I learned this lesson the hard way,

After a lot of struggle, when I achieved my financial goal of my monthly income covering all my “surviving” bills even if I stay in bed the entire day,

I had to ask myself:

“What do you want to do?”,

Not what I had to do, but what I really wanted to do,

When I reached the point where everything I was fighting so hard to achieve, came to me from day to night.

It took a while to sink in, I realized most of the things I used to do in my daily routine, was because I had to, not because I wanted to.

I started to go through a mental struggle which I never had been before,

When my mind went from “I am surviving” to “I am able to live” from day to night, I realize I didn’t know how to live, just to survive.

I actually couldn’t deal with it in the beginning, was so lost in my routine, that I didn’t know what to do.

My “comfort addiction triggers” kicked in to keep me in my comfort zone.

I had forgotten so long ago what “resting” was like, I couldn’t deal with the “not needing to work to pay bills”.

What I liked, what was good or bad for me, was lost along the way,

it was all about what I had to do before, and now I could do whatever I wanted,

And I didn’t know what I wanted to do.

Most of us spend so much time doing things that don’t bring us any value, that we deeply don’t care,

From jobs we hate but must do to pay bills, people which add absolutely nothing to ourselves and personal growth,

Trashy habits we do because of our circles, but we don’t want to take further into the future,

places where we literally need to be out of our minds to be going there,

to all the things which take us away from our own personal goals,

All of this simply because we’re weak,

It’s actually unbelievable, It took me so long to realize that.

And the worst is, we get frustrated and disappointed because we don’t achieve the goals we set for ourselves,

while keep finding every possible available excuse to justify it.

Well, guess what?

All of that, It’s just about how you choose to spend the seconds of your day.

The number in the bank account doesn’t matter, how hot or ugly we are doesn’t matter, absolutely anything matters,

Only how we choose to spend the 24 hours of our day,

All the small decisions, which take us closer or further from our goals, even if we lie to ourselves how we need money to do something, most of the things which actually bring us pleasure and satisfaction,

Are completely free.

Everything else is pretty much the same.

“Later” The biggest lie we keep telling ourselves.

Later doesn’t exist.

Tomorrow is a distorted illusion of all the choices you make today.

The choices you make, in the now, are what will direct the future outcome of your life, either to closer to what you want, or further away from it.

No, You won’t start the gym later, because you’ll be more tired, No, You won’t stop smoking tomorrow, because your body will be more addicted to it, No, You won’t organize later, because it will be more chaotic.

You won’t achieve it later, because you didn’t start now.

Simple as that.

And if we are going to go deeper in this, the truth is that you’re probably not putting much effort in the direction you want to go, and it’s also deviating all the time from the direction you want to,

All because of comfort, while you keep lying to yourself to maintain that justifiable in your head.

But that is a talk for another episode.

So, one last question:

Will you spend your daily sacred and limited 1440 minutes of your day, making decisions which take you closer to the goal you want to achieve,

Or repeating old habits and cycles, which will just make you frustrated for being in the same place in the future?

Because it’s all about how you spend those,

And getting more money,

Won’t give you more of that.
