A real-life incident in Denver, 1995¹:

A mother, Evans, heard about the gun shooting happening few nights before Christmas. Hoping to save her grandniece, she entered the apartment. She left her two sons sleeping in the backseat of her car when gunfire erupted.

The local gang had confused the target as her car. They fired 21 bullets. One-shot took the life of her toddler son. Utterly devastated by the unfolding of the event, it left Evans heartbroken.

Police identified the killer — Raymond. Court sentenced this 15-year-old killer to life behind bars with no parole.

Despite that, Evans’s heart was not at peace.

After 17 years, she, along with her surviving son, went to prison to meet Raymond. Raymond was now 33 years old. And she did what most people could never imagine.

She forgave him.

She recalled, “The only way to live with my surviving son was to forgive him.”

She remembered how Raymond grasped his heart and burst into the pool of tears, saying, “I messed up.”

At that moment, she realized his tears and regret were for real. Before leaving the prison, Evans hugged Raymond.

The huge-hearted Evans accepted him as her son.

She said, “Raymond was devoid of his parents. He had this hole in his heart for taking my son’s life, and I do not want to suffer him anymore. I wanted to get some closure to my unanswered questions. I certainly got them.”

After seven years, Evans is still in touch with Raymond and sends some money for his daily need.

Losing a son to the murder is an agony nobody wants anyone to go through. But when life gets into the whirlwind of chaos, a fundamental transformation in peace happens when the dust settles.

Inner peace can be reached only when we practice forgiveness. Forgiveness is letting go of the past, and is therefore the means for correcting our misperceptions. — Gerald. G. Jampolsky

You Find Your Ultimate Strength When Your Biggest Fear Confronts You.

These are chaotic times. Every country is dealing with its set of problems.

Some are coping with disparity and discrimination, others with poverty and violence. Few are fighting pandemics. The conflict seems like a race against time.

Conflicts are not only rising outside but inside the heart too.

The heart feels the pain of the other, the suffering of self, and the mental balance goes for a toss. The struggle seems never-ending.

Be proud of struggles in your life. They bring you closer to greatness. — Oscar Auliq-Ice

But Remember, after Every Chaos, a Significant Era of Peace flowers.

The conflict does not define us. It is our response in these times that make us who we are. It reveals our innate abilities to touch other’s lives and transform the self.

You can not heal the world unless you heal yourself. Only a peaceful and loving heart can radiate peace and love in the world.

Love is not the sentiment but universal energy which resides within everybody. The energy vibrates from the stars to the dust.

Allow the love to flower from you. Don't be afraid to show your vulnerabilities. It is what makes us human. And being a human has the highest potential to show and feel the blessed love.

This love heals. It is not an eye for an eye that revenges. It is a great love in the heart transforming everything—even the revenge.

Love plants forgiveness and acceptance. The distinction fades away. Oneness arises.

Peace will come to the hearts of men when they realize their oneness with the universe, It is everywhere.- Black Elk

Pour Unconditional Love from Your Heart to Nourish Humanity and The World.

We, as energetic beings, can unconditionally love everything. Ego dissolves the distinction the mind gives rise to.

A fragile flower sits within everybody, looking out for love. Be the love—touch other’s life with your mere presence.

Love communicates on a very subtle level. Don’t interfere. Let it flow from your open heart. Love is a magical potion that nourishes this entire world. Let love uncover its magic.

We humans have built a barrier against it. The enormous divide between me/mine and the rest of the world is the barrier that prevents its perfect flow.

Recognize whenever the need to protect ‘me/mine’ arises. Don’t pity yourself in little me/mine. You are the love, and you are the universe.

Rest in the vastness of love. Sprinkle it everywhere. Only love can heal you and the world.

Eventually, you will come to understand that love heals everything, and love is all there is. — Gary Zukav

Summary:

Go inside and break all the barriers of me/mine. It keeps you away from reaching the other’s heart. Feel the love of the universe flowing every moment. Channel divine love through you.

There is no separate another. Love makes you one with the giant universe. When no other remains, there is no need to worry about forgiveness, hatred, or regret. All dissolve in the shining and illuminating light of eternal love.

Love is within us. It can never be can be ignored. To the extent that we abandon love we will feel it has abandoned us. Denying love is our only problem, and embracing it is the only answer. Through the power of love, we can let go of past history and begin again. Love heals, forgives, and makes whole. — Ernest Holmes
