What You Can Do To Transform Your Life In the Mid of Pandemic
Get inspired and start living a happier life.

A long commute to work, office hours 9 am — 6 pm, housework, unwanted meetings, and many other things make you stuck in a trap that seems will last forever.
Have you ever thought your life is passing by and time is spent on things that do not make you happy? I’ve been living with these thoughts for a while.
I work as a marketing manager with office hours 9 am-6 pm. If the number of tasks skyrockets, I work extra to manage what’s left. On weekends I have multiple things to do like housework, meeting with friends, self-education, etc. I barely have time to relax and evaluate my lifestyle.
A stressful working environment and the absence of free time to improve the mental health ruin your body and might have detrimental consequences in the future. I knew it, but I did not know how to change it.
Abruptly, the whole world ended up sitting at home due to the unforeseen COVID- 19 outbreak. I have switched to remote work and started to learn how to live in the new reality. Besides, I began to transform my lifestyle and make myself happier.
I hope my example will be an excellent motivation for you, my dear reader.
One month of working remotely taught me this
I became more productive at work, I started to dedicate more time to myself, and I improved my mental health. I feel happier and less stressed. I am sharing a few things I began to practice during the quarantine that changed the way I lived my life. Check them out and start living the life you want.
1. Have a consistent day schedule
I wake up and go to bed at the same time. It is such a small thing, but it does a huge favor to your body. I wake up at 6:30 -7:00 am every day and stay in bed for a bit more. After a month of a consistent schedule, my sleep quality has improved, and I wake up full of energy.
If you are concerned with your sleep quality, recall whether you regularly do any of these things.
2. Morning stretching as a habit
The morning workout takes 10 minutes of my time and helps me to keep my body in shape. I develop a new habit of morning exercises before breakfast. It gives me positive vibes and a feeling of self-satisfaction.
3. Productivity prevail over the number of working hours
I prepare a working schedule at the end of every week. It helps to see the scope of work and allocate extra tasks wisely. These days, I manage to finish my working days earlier. Extra time can be spent on self-development, education, own projects, and relaxation.
In my spare time, I freelance on Upwork, discover my inner-self, and building a personal brand.
Time is the most powerful and priceless asset. We cannot revert time back, so plan your time wisely and dedicate as much time as possible for yourself and people you love.
4. Increase your value on a job market
Our world is changing day by day. Businesses that worked well a month ago have to change their strategies and go online to survive. I realized the demand for IT professionals like digital marketers, content managers, product owners, developers, etc., will grow tremendously.
According to the World Economic Forum, 75 million job roles may be displaced by the shift in labor division between humans, machines, and algorithms, while 133 million new job roles may emerge at the same time.

I want to stay competitive, keep doing my job, and acquire new skills. It is no longer enough to learn something and practice it.
Successful people learn something new every day. Likely, during the COVID-19 quarantine, I’ve got more free time for personal development. I have defined professional and personal targets and how to reach them. I am getting closer to achieve some of them. By the end of the quarantine period, I aim to increase my value on the job market and become more confident.
“The more I learn, the more I realise how much I do not know .”— Albert Einstein.
Do you know how much your time 💵 is worthed? How do you increase your value in the job market?
4. Spend more time with people who inspire you
Avoid toxic friendships and spend more time with people who accept you. It might be your family, your partner, or maybe your favorite blogger. These people should motivate you to move on and do something to improve your life quality. Nothing comes on its own. Your current way of life is the result of your achievements and the way of thinking.
I have started to read more and follow more people whose thoughts resonate with mine during the quarantine. It makes me feel happier and motivates me to do more.
Final thoughts
It is up to you how to use extra time during the pandemic. Some people will stay in bed until midday and watch movies all day long. Meanwhile, others will be working on their goals to live the life they want. These people control their own life regardless of what happens in the world. Yes, I want to be like them. I want to live my own happy life no matter what.
