Here is How You Can See the World Differently
New writers with unique perspectives

The greatest tragedy for any human being is going through their entire lives believing the only perspective that matters is their own.

This article marks 50 writers I have promoted since starting this series. As I prepared to introduce each writer to you, I’ve had to read more of their articles and learn more about them. This has really helped me to understand a wider variety of perspectives and develop a stronger sense of empathy for what’s going on inside people. Not just what we perceive from the outside. Some of my friends call me The Philosopher. And this new perspective has made me even more philosophical in my understanding of people. Just like first impressions, what we comprehend at face value is a limited view of the reality that lies beneath. Here are three writers that will have you thinking deeper about your view of the world. I discovered Cíntia Antunes through Facebook writers’ groups I belong to. She is from Brazil and lives in Europe. She covers a lot of ground in her writing. From life-work balance to user experiences in our everyday lives.
In this story, she talks about how to stay focused at work.
And in this one, she tackles the issue of life-work balance.
Finally, this article explains the benefits of providing online shoppers with more checkout choices.
Tasmia Sharmin, MBA is a writer I discovered while editing for ILLUMINATION. She is an optimistic and deep-thinking person who writes about topics from self-development and freelance writing to technology.
This story tells about the first hotel in space. It is scheduled to open before the close of the decade.
In this one, she describes her happiness formula.
And here, the eternal optimist shares ideas for using love to conquer hate.
As an individual, you can’t change society as a whole. But you can always try to plant the seeds of change in others. And it starts with yourself because if you are hateful or unkind to anyone else, they may take you as an example and act similarly.

That quote describes the firey Lila Juno. Who helps us see the world through a different set of glasses. And enhances our vision of the impact our behaviors have on others.
Here she talks of a serious issue that could be changed if we would stand up to the perpetrators of those inappropriate behaviors.
And in this story, she focuses on respecting others and their choices.
Finally, in this article, she demonstrates how to be welcoming without creating a sense of obligation during the holiday season.
So many perspectives and opportunities to grow our empathy muscles exist here in Medium. I encourage you to click on some stories with titles that make you a little uncomfortable and discover a new perspective on a familiar situation.
I wish you a quiet and reflective week as we prepare to make our way into 2022. If you are reading this after that. May new insights provide a gateway to more creative problem-solving.
I appreciate you. John
