Guest Prompt Week 3, Day 2: Bingz Huang
Prompt + short interview

All I need is a sheet of paper and something to write with, and then I can turn the world upside down. Friedrich Nietzsche
A flash of sudden clarity can easily trigger a lightning strike of inspiration within us, jumpstarting our dreams. Why bet on the possibility of failure, when we can bet on that of a big breakthrough?
I’ve found that when I feel confused or muddled, words lift me out of the fog. Bingz Huang’s prompt seems to reinforce this suspicion of mine. Here’s what she prepared for us:
“If you’ve chosen to focus on a particular word for the year 2021, what are your experiences and insights from embodying and reflecting on this word for the past half year?”
Love, love, love this question! I wanted to know more about this prompt, though, so I asked Bingz Huang why she chose it. This is what she said:
“I find that I’ve been going on an amazing journey since creating and connecting to my word for 2021. Initially, my word was light, which eventually shifted more clearly to dance instead. Even though I keep feeling I’m immersed in confusion every day, I’m still making progress by reflecting on this word and dancing more as a daily habit too. I’m genuinely curious to know if there’s anyone from KTHT who’s consciously embodying a chosen word for 2021. We’re almost past the half-year mark, so it feels a good time to do a mid-year reflection.”
Dear Bingz Huang, I think you’re dancing with light, illuminating the path for many people. Thank you for that!💛
I’m looking forward to everyone’s submissions! Don’t forget to stay tuned for Friday’s prompt.
