You Have More Than Enough Medium Publications to Be Your Publisher

Welcome to my new Medium publication, my 8th. Oh, wait, did I say 8th? I have a few Medium publications, actually all 7, because that is the number of publications I can create.
There is a good reason why Medium writers should start their publications, and I have written a few articles about the topic:
In the beginning, like any new Medium writer, I submitted stories to the biggest publications, and I was rejected, not once. It will keep on happening because not everyone will like our stories.
Besides, publications have their rules and branding; if the story doesn't make a good fit, why would they publish it?
But, my advice is to keep on submitting. Most of the big publications are nice. They often leave a message why they are rejecting your story, and please remember they are rejecting the story and not you.
And if rejection still hurts, because it does, I still get sad about it sometimes, but I don't write about it and name names, which can cause unnecessary drama over nothing, and we are all supposed to be adults. Right?
Medium update?
I had 7 Medium publications, but only 3 or 4 are active. It is where I publish my stories, when they are rejected or if I want them to go live as soon as I finished writing them.
And besides, my publication, my rules!
Surprisingly, my biggest moneymaker comes from my Medium publication, and there are times when I self-published that they are either curated or get more views. For example, my “How to lose 20 lbs in 30 days” story has so far earned me $239.64 and counting.
But I still love writing for other publications, more about that in my future stories.
My other publications are ideas for now, and today, I decided to check if I can create a new one, and behold, I was able to create a new one that I call it.
Med for Dummies.
I love breaking new features that I find on Medium or any new feature on the social media platforms that I use. So that is why I also contribute to the social media group by Matt Navarra.
So there, I hope it isn't a glitch and that we will hear from Medium if they removed the limit on the number of Medium publications an active member can have on the platform.

What is a Medium publication?
Medium publications are shared spaces for stories written around a common theme or topic, usually by multiple authors.
Who can create a Medium publication?
You must have a Medium account with an active membership subscription in order to create a Medium publication. Learn more about becoming a Medium member.
How many publications can I create?
Each Medium user can own up to seven Medium publications. There’s no limit of publications a user can participate in.
