You try to speak, but the words won’t come out. You feel as though you’re drowning in the overwhelming sense of guilt and despair.

“Please. Please let me explain — ”

With a swift movement of his hands, Lorenzo lifts in the air as you feel an invisible force pressing hard on your throat, choking the life out of you.

“Listen carefully, you pathetic being. You are wrong if you think begging and crying will erase your debt. If you intend to lose it and start acting like a child, then you are useless to me. Have I made myself clear?”
