Imagine if you did something wrong, then as a punishment, you had to do that thing many times until you were sick of it. Would you do that thing again? I doubt it.
Here I take a look at a bunch of amusing scenarios where this could work.
Man steals cheese, forced to eat nothing but cheese
Dennis loves cheese. Every day he steals cheese. He can’t seem to get enough of the cheese.
Eventually, the police catch him. He gets sent to jail for one month, during which time he is only given cheese to eat every day.
On the final day, he is forced to continuously eat cheese until he vomits. Then he’s forced to eat the vomit until he vomits again. Then he has to smear the cheesy vomit over his face.
Do you think he will want to steal cheese again after that?
Woman steals shoes, forced to steal shoes every day
A woman who loves shoes keeps stealing them. And it’s not because she needs shoes. She has enough shoes already.
Her punishment is to steal shoes every day for a month. It is all planned out, so the store owner knows she’s coming. Then she gets chased through the shopping mall. If she gets caught, she is force-fed cheese.
On the final day, she has to steal 25 pairs of shoes and outrun the security guard each time. If she fails, she has to do another month of shoe-stealing.
Child sneaks into an amusement park without paying, is then forced to live there
Timmy loves the amusement park more than anything. Unfortunately, his parents can’t afford to pay for it this year. They spent all their spare money on a new security fence around their house. Someone had been breaking in and stealing all their cheese.
So, one day, Timmy sneaks into the amusement park without paying. A security guard spots him and gives chase. Unfortunately, the guard doesn’t catch Timmy because he’s too fat. Too many donuts.
Another security guard chases Timmy but falls head-first into some mud. The mud gets in his eyes so he can’t see. He stumbles into a woman who thinks he’s molesting her, so she punches him in the balls. This causes him to fall over and bang his head.
A third security guard gives chase and catches Timmy. He phones his parents. After talking to his parents for a few minutes, he then phones Timmy’s parents and they come down for a chat. They agree to a special type of punishment in exchange for not calling the police.
Timmy must live in the amusement park 24 hours a day for a whole month. This might sound fine, but he’s not given any money. He has to scavenge the unwanted food thrown away by other people.
He’s also not allowed on any of the rides, except for the final day.
On the final day, he is forced to ride one roller coaster over and over again all day long. And when the day ends, and everyone goes home, he has to keep riding it. He rides it all night long. He’s trapped. The restraining bars won’t release. And there’s no point in screaming for help because there’s nobody there.
Neighbour plays loud music at night, forced to listen to loud music all the time
Nathan likes to play his thumping loud dance music late into the night. Eventually, his neighbours get so sick of it they punch him in the face. When that doesn’t work, they rugby tackle him when he’s next on his way to his car.
They put a bag over his head and drive him to a secret warehouse in an unknown location. They keep him there for a week, playing loud music constantly. But not just any loud music. The 1980s hits of Black Lace.
Pervert caught peeping at nude women, forced to continuously look at naked people — even the ugly fat ones
Dave is a naughty man.
He owns a building and rents rooms out to people. Well, specifically women in their 20s and 30s. He has installed secret CCTV cameras in the rooms and enjoys watching them undress.
When he is found out, Police come knocking on his door. When he answers, they ask if they can come in. He says “no”, but they do anyway, accidentally knocking over a plant pot on the way in.
He is sentenced to spend one month in a solitary prison cell covered with video screens. Every screen continuously plays footage of naked people of varying sizes and attractiveness.
On the final day, he is forced to stand naked while surrounded by everyone he’s ever known in his life. They all point at him and laugh.
Rejected ideas
- Children caught smoking, forced to smoke all the time
- Heroin addict is forced to be high on heroin all the time
- Serial killer is forced to murder people all the time
- Lazy person is forced to stay still
There was also an idea that was so bad it didn’t even make the rejected ideas list. It was doubly rejected.
