Appreciation and Gratitude for Warm Welcomes

Responses to my first story made me feel privileged, inspired and motivated me to keep posting on Medium.

Dear Readers,

I posted my first story two days ago on Medium. The public and private feedback from the readers inspired me to continue writing. In addition, my first post gained several fans and my account got numerous followers. I am grateful for the support. Thank you.

In this post, I’d like to introduce a YouTube video that I created featuring Dr. Preeti Singh.

Dr. Singh is a writer and editor on Illumination Integrated Publications on Medium. Meeting Dr. Singh was a privilege for me. While preparing this video, I learned a lot from her fascinating background and lifestyle. In addition, she inspired me to try Yoga.

I read Dr. Singh’s recent article featuring my videos on YouTube. I did not expect to be featured on Medium on my first day. I am fortunate and grateful.

Illumination also posted an article providing the transcript of the video that I created for Dr. Singh.

In addition, another editor of Illumination, Britni Pepper, also featured my first article in her latest story. I am grateful for the support Britni provided me.

It is an additional pleasure to learn that Britni also lives in Australia. I did not expect to meet these top writers in the early days on Medium.

My special thanks and gratitude go to Dr Mehmet Yildiz for giving me this opportunity, mentoring me, and teaching me the importance of serendipity for my growth.

As he wisely puts it, “we should tolerate uncertainty and create serendipitous encounters in our lives.” I will never forget this important advice from him.

I read his latest story describing recent setbacks in his life. Yet, despite the challenges, he remains calm and composed. His story gave me valuable insights. It also resonated with me because his story reflects the culture of Australia.
